- How's the new raptor hold up with a GFC (Go Fast Camper) setup? I was super impressed after going through my prep routine and getting it cleaned out and loaded up with my recovery gear.
Many more overlanding trips to come in this thing, needed to get it out to a national forest first to get used to it.

Whitey, I'm sold on GFC as well. Especially after talking with Jed earlier this evening. Add this video from Kyle and this is exactly what I need. Now Kyle I have you beet with 3 large pups, two of which I think I will set impact crates off the Decked platform for, and my oldest can have the back seat. Add a 270 degree awning with side walls and for winter camping a Mr. Buddy Heater is a must. Now I wonder if anyone has wrapped their GFC top in BLK/3M autowrap to cut out the sun in the morning hours.
Yeah awning would be awesome. I’m really enjoying the setup but waiting for my camper van to get delivered hopefully soon, so my budget won’t allow me to do much to the raptor at this point.

Glad you got the truck situation sorted! Just bought a gladiator myself, looking forward to some winter overlanding. I almost bought off vroom... had similar issues to yours! Liars and overall just seems like a shoddy operation. Wound up just buying a new Rubicon and I'm so glad I did. Love it! Love your videos. Happy you're getting to camp again!

Going the bed rack, roof top tent, and decked system route. Then a new front bumper with some much needed lights and a wench. I'll try out 35s after that.

I’m considering this camper purchase for my gen 2 raptor. Did you have to make any suspension mods?
I actually got this used with the camper pre installed (long story after selling my jeep I built out and sold too early) but it’s running factory suspension still. No issues I’ve seen but I haven’t had a chance to really run it in dunes yet. The GFC should hold up for it though and its well under payload of the raptor

Haha so much to unpack there. I’ll probably do a full video soon on the pros and cons to each. Short answer if both were in front of me and I could have the keys to either I’d take the gladiator. But a big part of that was because I built it out myself and the raptor was already built when I bought it. The engine in the raptor is amazing and the go fast camper is better than my ikamper was.

any concern for the truck bed walls bowing out? I am thinking about whether or not I need bed wall stiffeners.
