- One of the best loved acts on the Psychobilly scene, the Long Tall Texans hailed from Brighton and became one of the best-loved bands on the scene. With the ever smiling Mark Carew trapped behind his double bass, wailing manic mutant rockabilly lines backed by the ever reliable guitar trickster Mark Denman both supported by the solid voodoo rhythms of drummer Theo, the Texans were a charismatic as they were tuneful.
'Blood Sweat and Beers' was filmed at the Hummingbird Club, Birmingham in front of several thousand quiff headed beer monsters during the legendary 'Night of the Long Knives' concert in 1988.

The new psychobilly are ridiculous... only tattoo in the head
And most of the bands doesn’t have the psychobilly beat that had in 70’s -90’s 😢
Ugh.
