Great Series! The massive bush which I thought was a tree, that got reduced by 90% was surprising, looks good. It's interesting to see how different people have different sense of completion. I for once would have painted the new fences and gate same dark brown as the rest of it, and the bushes on the other side (12:47) would have trimmed the lower part where there is nothing but branches and no leaves, looks bit weird, but maybe that's not possible, but surely cut a narrow gap between those 2 bushes.
But yeah, loved this Series, hope to see more massive transformations in the future!

As an older person who does for myself, and putting myself in Sheila's place, I know that she worried about the upkeep of her property. That was thousands of pounds worth of work you all did. The fact that she knows you will check back in the spring will let her sleep better. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.

Exactly what I thought. People of that era are so house and garden proud so it would've been upsetting for her. So pleased for her that she can enjoy her home for the rest of her years x

Ben, I want you to know of one more elderly person you are blessing: my mother-in-law. She lives with us here in the US. She has dementia, and cannot follow the plots of TV shows or movies, so keeping her entertained is tricky. We came across your channel and found that she is fascinated by watching you and your Dad transform properties. She also loves your family outtros because, let's face it, your kids are the most adorable boys in the entire UK. Thank you for providing soothing, wholesome content for my sweet mother-in-law!

Thank you for your comment. My Mom is in the beginning stages of dementia and just this year can not follow the plot of shows she loved before. I will try to watch some of this type of show with her now. I hope your Mother & family have as easy a time as possible living with this difficult situation. I know it is not easy. I've become quite the fan of yard clean-up videos. I've never been responsible for an exterior space, but I sure do love watching how the overgrown places get cleaned up!!! Very soothing, comforting, and joyous to witness such profound transformation/restoration... ❤❤❤
You guys are just the very, very BEST!!! You've given back to Sheila pride in her property. No more feeling she must get it done, especially when the Council gave her an official warning. Don't they find out the resident's position, their age, their health? Surely they should do that!!!

You guys at Flawless surely MUST gain more work, as a result of the vlogs you've shown here? Do let us know. We love to see good work done, which these vlogs have clearly shown but, more than that, we, I, love to see good work rewarded. I know you'll be saying, "We don't do this type of work, ie., free at the point of need, for reward". We know you don't but it's great to see good folk prosper. God bless you, guys. When I was 18 I worked for a TV company that had alot of rentals.
The poor elderly were the most trusting and generous. Always offered a cup of tea and tips. The rich saw me as a servant and quick to complain or demand preference.
Im 56 now and will never forget the day and night treatment.
I do volunteer work now, appreciation is more than $$$$...
I live in Australia and the council in my area organise for work like this to be done for elderly people. It is shameful that Sheila's council could not get off their bums to help an old lady who clearly cannot tackle such a massive tidy up like this. Well done to you and your Dad and the others for tidying up the garden for Sheila. The service is called 'Home Assist'

Awww, I bet that was the highlight of her day to get to hand out sweets to your boys for Trick or Treating, that was so thoughtful of you to think of that.
Please stay in touch with Mrs Sheila and don't wait too long in between visits. I imagine she will never venture out of her house again, so thank you for taking the time to include her and show her what all you and your crew fixed up and cleaned up. I know she is relieved to not to have to worry about the garden anymore!

you literally not only helped a person who was in need you treated her damn near just like your own mother. Showing her videos of your kids going down slides, talking to her always, making sure she walked carefully while you let her trot around her new found lawn and making sure she never rushed. Honestly just absolute world class you are.

So glad you made the decision to keep going back to her place to keep it up to snuff and lovely for her! That's really going the extra mile for someone else! You never know how many people, including your boys I'm sure, will be inspired by your selflessness and work ethic! My, self taught, electrician grandfather was the same way and he touched hundreds of lives in his lifetime in a small Missouri, river town. The love that poured out to him at his funeral was palpable. Not a single dry eye in the church. Miss you gramps! ❤ Keep up the great work Ben and Co.!

I am bedridden at the moment, after a productive working life and retired only to end up in bed full time with a spinal condition.. but enough waffle!! You guys deserve to be on the Honour's List for services to vulnerable people. A small terraced cottage with a yard is what Sheila should have bought when she was in her 60's, it's what I'm going to do. Amazing work guy's you'll definitely get to heaven for what you've done.
Life happens when you are making other plans. Life rarely goes the way we planned. Enjoy now. Stay flexible. You will need that, as we all do. Above all, be kind to yourself when things do not work out as planned. Be kind to others, too, including random strangers. They may turn out to be angels with hidden wings.
What a wonderful journey we have been on with you Ben, your dad the master carpenter and your family members. You have worked so hard to transform Sheila's garden and you have made her so happy. In these troubled times your videos are a welcome oasis of peace and goodwill. Thank you all 🇬🇧

Out of your kindness you all have added at least 5k to the value of this property. The garden was a liability, a trap for dear Sheila, whereas now if she wanted she can explore the garden again in the good weather, with a carer or friend. Incredible job. There are signs our society is going through a similar change as happened in Europe around and after the Great Depression. Trust is declining, wars getting closer and the economy is shits while the richest 80 guys own as much as the poorest 4.5 billion people on Earth. I'm really happy at least Sheila got some peace of mind. This warmed my heart.
Hearing the joy in Sheila's voice when she was talking to your children just made me tear up, thank you all for helping this lovely Lady .
As a non-golfer, my verdict is "great use of a golf bag!" I am going to keep that in mind, just in case I discover a similar need! But more seriously, well done for helping a 96 year old conform to local regulations! Congrats on a beautiful result! You and your extended family members and friends deserve a pint or two at the local Pub for what you have accomplished. I gotta say I love your Dad, he reminds me of my Gramps who was also a big kid and I lost count how often my Nan used to look at him and laugh as she shook her head (can image your Mum does the same), I bet your Dad is an amazing Granddad and loves playing with your boys.

This is so inspiring to watch, I currently help my 90 year old Nan maintain her large garden which is her passion, I’m glad I can give back to her after everything she’s done for me. It’s sad to know there are people like Sheila out there without anyone to help them. But I’m glad you were there for this obviously grateful and relieved lady.

UNBELIEVABLE! This garden makeover was the most I have ever seen on a volunteer basis. Shiela must have been a saint in her younger years to have found you, your father, Uncle Paul, Jack, Joe and Aaron, and her neighbors keeping you hydrated, in treats, lunches and tea.
This was a marathon watch for me and I should have gone to bed hours ago. I just couldn't help myself.

The thing that fascinates me , is that although neighbors are more than willing to provide ‘tea and scones ‘ to the ‘workers,’ yet in most cases , they are quite ok with letting their elderly neighbours homes /gardens get so out of hand to the point that they would even prefer to walk around the overhangs onto the Rd, than to take a pair of secateurs to it in the first place . Not only neighbours , but followers here and other like programs , even if half or even 10%of fans , organised a community watch for people in need, and say at Xmas road parties, organised a plan for the coming year, to help their immediate community , imagine the bonds created, get your kids involved, , but I rarely see anyone offering to do something for those who need . Just a thought…. But , You are right , there are many who volunteer a helping hand ,and their good deeds may not be publicly acknowledged, but they are appreciated , and they wouldn’t have it any other way .
This channel. This series. This is humanity. This is love. This is God. More of this everywhere.

So many times I see these videos and I wonder why the neighbors wouldn’t help for no reason other then it would make their own homes and neighborhood look better. This garden needed professionals like you and your father with the tools and experience - I’m glad they offered what they could. Instead of hassling Sheila, the "Toss Pots at the Council" could have helped. The Community Service Programme was set up to help people who are struggling like Sheila. Fantastic effort from all involved in this project.

I just had surgery two weeks ago and I can’t drive have very low energy. I can’t imagine being alone and 96 with that much yard work. Your reward if not here will be in heaven.

🤔 That’s quite irritating nationalism for any person living in the rest of the world as if it would be “very special British” 🙄 in other countries I know it would be daily part of their society helping out when neighbors in need (and those are especially the poorest ones) not waiting for governmental institutions to kick in with a “request” 🤷♀️

I am watching this and thinking that all around the world there are so many people who need just a kind neighbor to show up.
After watching this series with Sheila I'm just so in love with you guys. What y'all have done for this lovely lady is nothing less than The LORD's work. Y'all are angels. And the going above & beyond for her by redoing her fence, cleaning her gutters, etc. is so lovely. I hope GOD blesses you all for your kindness & generosity you've shown toward an elderly neighbor. Definitely a subscriber. In a world torn apart by war, hate, confusion, & narcissism you guys made me cry like a baby. Just to know that there are still good people in this world helping others is the most beautiful thing I can think of 💖💖💖💖💖💖💖
