is it just me or does the on-board footage look sped up slightly?
Why exhaust brought to the side?
The sooner and faster the exhaust gasses leave the engine - the better. Therefore shorter exhaust pipe.
So why not bring it through the bumper?
Александр Василенко Most regulations say the exhaust has to exit behind any openings, so it has to be behind the doors and windows, but still be as short as possible because it is a turbo car. Most drag car exhausts just shoot out of the side fender or hood :D
