- From 2015 - one part of a series of tracks I remade and extended from the original game. Notice how it incorporates themes from the Jaguar version! Also, excuse the pretty bad flute playing, I'll fix that at some point.

ive always seen this song as the unofficial theme for the whole franchise, its just so dreamlike, adventurous and mysterious!

@@cupriferouscatalyst3708 I only started playing Rayman 1 a few days ago and have only tried some of the others so far, but I know that Rayman 2 is MUCH darker than this game, so I don't think it'd fit for that game at least. For this game though, I think it's absolutely perfect and I see it as an unofficial main theme of it too. Heck, it's even used in the intro.
I think each of the original three games has a theme that represents what they're going for. "Harmony" is the first game's theme - it's magical, peaceful, and fun. The second game has that leitmotif that's repeated through most of the soundtrack, often in a major key for Rayman and his friends (as heard in the end credits, for instance) and a minor key for the Robo-Pirates. Said leitmotif is adventurous and epic, fitting for the game's tone. Hoodlum Havoc's theme is undoubtedly the Hoodoo theme (which is also used in the end credits) - it's weird, offbeat, kind of spooky, but also really catchy and fun... just like the game itself.

Lovely extension, I had always really liked what you did with the few Rayman 1 tracks in the RRotD soundtrack, so it's super neat to hear something similar done to more of the other (way too short) original tracks.
Me and a friend of mine did a duet on the vibraphone for the original version of this song for an event. We did really well and it was fun to play!
Amazing how this incorporates the themes from the Jaguar version as well as the more well known ports of the game! Decent for WIP! 😎

Great work, I smiled at the drum transition just after 2min, it reminded me of "Red Drummers" level in Band Land -- really well attuned.
I've been hearing this theme float around in memes and on soundboards lately. I forgot what part of the game it was from, but I instantly recognized it as Rayman 1 music.

This sounds great and I think it captures the feel of the original well, the added parts are also great! My one criticism is that the flute notes are too long, in the original, there are some staccato notes in between the longer ones, but you already addressed it in the description. I still think it sounds good though, and it's cool that you used an actual flute for this!
If only Rayman had a 25th anniversary orchestra… Guess all we can hope for is the 30th…
