Hi Rob, Yeah. First project of this year. A beautiful illuminated sign. - freedom for the bees :-) - Good job. congratulations. see you later. May the new year bring you great luck.
:) Freedom for the bees - they are attracted by beeswax polish I think, and they get stuck at that same spot every time. I usually have to use the blower to get them out. Thanks Mehmet - have a good one!
Sign sign everywhere a sign 😁🍻 Makita are bloody good tools & Scott Brown just had a video on the Makita lawnmower in another exciting episode. Keep ‘em coming brother Rob 🍺🍺🍻👍👍👍👍
I saw that vid mate - tell you what I could do with that hedge trimmer he has. Bloody nice. That mower is a beauty too but my lawn is so small that I would never even get through one battery let alone 4. One tank of gas lasts about a year 😂 Cheers bruv 🤙
A portion of the energy generated by the earthquake is spent shaking the fluid back and forth in the dampers, which in turn reduces the energy available to damage the wall or building structure.
Thanks so much Mehmet. I got a new job last year and I'm very busy with that now. When I get some free time I'll get back to making more content. Take care 👍💪
Thank you kindly Bill. Same to you and your fam. I reckon this year is going to be a gud un. Just requires some adaptation to the circumstances and a bit of a plan. 2020 was pretty shit but it wasn't my worst year. '21 was ok, '22's gonna be #mint! Cheers m8, be well.
@@TakamiWoodshop I'm glad the weathers been mint, i've just got back from a week in sunny nelson, weather was phenomenal up there. Looks like we've got a few days of rain ahead here, boo! Just started ripping my rotten deck apart, hoping to get it finished before I start back at work on the 17th, weather isn't looking favourable!
Good luck with the deck. I'm doing three areas of paving, flattening and regrassing the back yard, and....... Supposed to be sanding and fixing up our shit deck but not sure if I'll get to that for a while.
Look at those steel fabrication skills eh. Haha hope your holidays are going well, hopefully the weather in Auckland is better than it's been in Timaru, been shocking down here. P.s. I'm glad you put the "here" inside of the red arrow in the thumbnail, I wouldn't have noticed the sign otherwise lol
Gidday Jordan, hehe - steel "de"fabrication. Weather's been absolutely mint but bloody hot. Can't complain though. Pity about yours - often the way around the country this time of year unfortunately. The "here" - yeah that was an afterthought but glad I did - thanks.
Happy New Year! Can't say I'm partial enough to one brand or the other to have a giant lit up sign in my shop. Now if one were to sponsor me on the other hand...haha!
Happy NY dude. I'm not a Makita loyalist but I do like every one of their tools that I own a lot. Zero complaints. I wouldn't have any other tool brand sign on my wall that big though - definitely not DeWalt or Milwaukee even though I have nothing against those tools. Oh - I'd have a Festool sign if I had the opportunity. I have a Festool ruler and a beanie (a hat - you canucks call them a tuk or something right?)
I actually forgot to film the making of it - I used my new CNMS machine (computer numeric makita sign machine) that I got for Christmas. Nah, it is cool though right! Got it ages ago from a guy I know that has dodgy connections but it took almost a year with lock downs and this and that before I was able to go pick it up. Cheers m8 - have a great '22 dude 🤙

2:36, well that was unexpected but 😍
That little baby birdie could hardly fly and we looked after him for a few hours while he made several attempts to make it back up the tree. 🐤
The pièce de résistance was when the DeWalt sign lit up 😂
Lol WDF (What DeFeck)😆. A lot of people think that DeWalt is a pièce de 💩 but I have no opinion on the matter because I have a lit Makita sign. 🤘🔥🤘🔥
@@TakamiWoodshop yeah mate, Makita all the way! 😂
I like this one and was quite surprised how much light is added to your workbench !
I'm planning on putting an extra light on the bottom especially for the workbench area. You can never have to much light!
@@TakamiWoodshop ..... or just modify the sign, replace a section of the bottom white perspex with clear ?
Yeah that's pretty much the plan, but the light inside it is actually pretty weak so I'll just add another much more powerful light pointing down.
Happy new year to you sir!
Nice project to get the ball rolling on for the new year.
Cheers Harki, hope you have a great one this year too!

I wish I had a sign like that. (P.S. that was quick!)
