I had watched this video a few months ago when I installed Python 3.10, so I did add it to PATH that time. I now want to install version 3.11.1 so I deleted the previous version. What do I do? Do I add this version to the PATH as well, or leave it alone since I did it in the previous version?
Also, let's say I skip this step. Is there a way to add python.exe to PATH later on? Or if I add right now, is there a way to remove it later?
I can’t remember if I checked the PATH checkbox or not. Is there a way to check? Would it be ok to uninstall and then reinstall?

Hi Giles, I've installed for the first time and I followed your instructions from the other video (setting up the dir for pyver and pyproj folders). Now I have a few questions, how do I start to use it? Do I have to go through cmd every time to activate the venv before I start working on a project? And every project I initiate I need to create a folder within pyproj for it? Thanks!

But you had us press Path here and there is Modify left on the installer where which Customize install location is grayed out. I am not able to set up Virtual Env.

I don't add it to PATH when I'm on Windows. That way I'm always sure I operate with within a virtual enviornment. By contrast, I am kind of annoyed when on Linux I accidentally install packages to the global environment.

if by using the command python --version your python is still not recognized then use the command py
I'll be watching your virtual environments vid next but since I am setting up a brand new system and I am interested in Data Science and Machine Learning, can I ask how I should make decisions about adding to path or not, and setting virtual environments or not, if I am going to use the Anaconda install, which is whet I did on my last pc?

I had python installed and I thought there was an issue so I uninstalled it. I have also checked on powershell that it is not installed and it's not installed, however, when I try to install it now I get the following error: 0x80070642 - User cancelled installation. But I did not cancel anything. it simply backtracks the install and gives me this error. What do I need to do to fix this?
Uncheck "Install launcher for all users" box while you're doing the the setup.

if you want to understand why, you need to endure the explanation of the pro's and con's of good and less favourable methods.. if you prefer to brainlessly follow a random step by step recipe, then look somewhere else. But if you encounter issues you may find yourself in trouble due to lack of context. Good luck.
