- In what may come as a surprise to nobody, Nintendo has announced its much anticipated Nintendo Direct screening live at midnight tonight and they have made one thing very clear, there will be no talk about the Switch Successor. Instead, the direct will run for 40 minutes and will focus on games releasing in the latter half of this year. Now, as you may know, I stopped reporting on rumours and leaks as UA-cam is flooded with videos and misinformation and I don't want to contribute to that, but instead, I did want to share my thoughts on what we may see, what I would love to see, and what we won't be seeing in this Nintendo Direct. Don't be shy either, let me know what you would like to see when it goes live at midnight tonight.

Well... I got a lot of things wrong, and that's ok! Metroid Prime 4 showed and there were a lot of pleasant surprises!
Think it’ll be a pretty farm sim heavy stream…but probably something to do with Epic Mickey remake and think there’ll be some DS Zelda games like Phantom Hourglass to hype for a Windwaker on new gen

Nice. I never played Wind Waker, but would love to give it a go if they announce it coming soon for Switch. Zelda games have been a bit hit or miss for me over the years, with some I've totally adored (OOT, BOTW, TOTK) others that felt more "meh," and still others I've never tried. I've heard loads of good things about Wind Waker, so hopes are high I might find another Zelda game to add to the "love" list.

Wind Waker is right up there in my books. A leaker has all but confirmed it won't be Wind Waker now, but I'm still holding out for hope hahaha. The Wii U remaster was really well done with lots of quality of life improvements and a nice graphical upgrade.
@@whatsitlikeau That's too bad if the leaker is right. We seem to share a fairly similar taste in games, which makes me think I'd enjoy Wind Waker too. Ah well, guess we'll see what gets announced!
We certainly do. I still have my hopes up, but there's always Switch 2 for Wind Waker if we don't see it tonight. Fingers crossed!
@@whatsitlikeau Ah, man. No Wind Waker announcement. The new Zelda game looks... interesting. Almost like they're trying to mix the creative item-combining problem solving of TOTK with aspects of the older games as well. Thoughts?
I'm interested especially how they play on Zeldas Wisdom over Links Courage and combat. I really enjoyed the Links Awakening remaster so I'm keen. I just tried out Perfect Dark and that was fun just like the old days, and I'm currently downloading the Metal Slug Deck Builder to give that a shot, although its 1.30am over her so it may have to wait until morning.
Do you have dungeons 3 on switch? How well does it perform?
Pretty good considering. I think it's vastly improved since its launch. I have a video planned shortly on it so stay tuned! I'm hoping Dungeons 4 comes out soon too!
Not much of a prediction if you list exactly what was in the google/youtube leak from a few weeks ago, more like you are stating what games are going to be mentioned.
Fair enough! I haven't seen any leaks aside from Pyoros tweet this afternoon (in regard to this Direct), was it very similar? I tried to keep my expectations tame on this one
