They are not member of clan. They belong to the guild. That thing on the sky in opening 6 is magic bombarder which belong to the blue pegasus guild. White hair girl (Lisana) on the end opening 7 is pink guy's (Natsu) friend from childhood. Your theory about the strongest guild is correct and someone from future trying bring dragons during that.
