The WrOoOong Waaaaay . Wow, that was harsh for a new kid in town😅 lol . We are so burn 😂. Thank you for your opinion. Our Hero S8 was suppose meant for people who don’t want any puncture tires. We will keep improving and building with better scooters as we go. Thank you 😊
Do you sell in Puerto Rico? I commute on 🚲 to work, but I would like a e-🛴 .
I just recently purchased my Hero S8 & think it’s a F***n awesome scooter in my opinion. Quality build & Not having to worry about punctures is the best. Gets up and goes quick even in gear 2. Runs beautiful on the flat & can cut through a bit of dirt & grass no worries, let the shocks do there job. Here to support & recommend the hero brand. Love from Sydney, Aus 🤙🏽 🛴
I have the S8 and its a damn good scooter, ok its a bumpy ride at times, but never, and I say Never have I worried once about riding it anywhere and though about the tires......!!!! I liked it so much I've just bought a X8........ keep up the good work guys
@@Travelzglobally thank you so much for your support. we will keep improving
@@timpriestley8997 thank you so much for your support. we will keep improving
Yeah I think you just don’t like it at well I think it’s a great scooter for the money I think you are very wrong.
I bought one and love it, Great value for money. Good ride.
thank you so much for your support. we will keep improving
I think this scooter is a complete beast ! Way better than he says it is
I love ur intros lol, the Wronggg wayyyyyy, the music and most importantly, the edited falling into the picture at the start lmfao, love from America bro be safe
a dual motor s8 beats soo many big scooters on acceleration lol. ive raced quite a few :)
Yeah very harsh review and totally wrong way to test a scooter uphill. I'm 75kg and it got me up a 100m 20 degree hill no problem. The suspension is also really good and takes out the bump. I'm not a fan of the super wide wheels though..
Do you have any knowledge how to properly test an incline grade on a scooter? You don't start at the bottom of the hill when torque is at the lowest. It's like taking a drill and mixing cement; throw it all in to the top and start the drill, it won't turn.. I suggest that you get some knowledge about these things if you do this for a living. I personally own this scooter since it came out and have hundreds of kilometers on it and no issues. I'm not going to say it's perfect, but not the way you made it sound. It seems like you were payed to kill the Hero brand by competitors. It's not designed for off roading, read what it's designed for, it's an all terrain scooter. There are hundreds of scooters with air tires, S8 is not another air tire for a reason. I don't need a flat 20 kilometers away from home. I don't agree with your review. Even about the handlebar: if it slides down, tighten it dude. Who sells it for $1,400?
Agree 👏🏼
Well said he is wrong as I love my s8
The scooter is not that bumpy offriad... mind you Hero have probably address it
Dude doing review is a idiot..
@@kevindoherty2716 Couldn't agree more. I go up hills with ease on the hero s8. The real test though will be how it goes after a few thousand kms.
How the widewheel can have a better ride than S8 I don’t understand. Widewheel’s suspension is non existent and the tyre itself is considerably thinner than S8.
I tried them back to back and widewheel did feel a bit more comfy
Well, I have ridden widewheel for about a year and can definitely argue that hero s8 has much better suspension and the design of the wheel is significantly better due to curved edges(no buckled edges as with mercane widewheel)
You mention that a rental is better.. thats a little bit silly in my opinion
@@mr_wrongway widewheel is expensive and weak as piss! one bump and you have a cracked wheel rim. lol. how you can overlook something like that big of a flaw i cant understand lol.
I loOoOoOoOoOoOveE what you diIiIiIiIid theEeEeEeEeEere
Tadeusz did you try Widewheel Pro as well? The one in the video, wonder who else than me has Mercane Widewheel Pro
So, you're saying that I should ride it in the air?
That piece of machine is not for your place you better use fat tire bikes men!! Hero S8 is good especially in good place with a nice road. Its like you review a Lamborghini but you ride it in the desert! Expect a negative review!
Dud i love the intro where he pops out of nowhere legend, just pops from the multiverse here
Very good and complet and honest review. But I m disappointed now because I would like to buy this but now... I have an e twow monster 36v 14 ah since 2 years with 6000 km ( I use it during the winter, under the rain) but now I want a new escooter with more speed (real 45 or 50 km/h) and power to climb up some hill, a solid tire or a good tire (no time to repair it when I go to my job), a compact and light scooter ( I m a busdriver so I need to have my escooter with me in my cabine.) Do you have an advice ? When will you review the dualtron mini ? (Hello from France)
There are many places in the world with smooth roads and sidewalks where it rarely rains. The S8 is a great platform for modification. For less money, my dual motor S8 is a V12 killer....and it's never had a flat tire.
I wear a full helmet gloves jackets boots pants what else would you recommend for gear?
Looks nice👍
I propably never buy any e-scooter because models what impress me cost like car. Anyway i enjoy full video and learn many new details about e-scooters thanks. You do this right way compare product is same range this is core review with great climb test. This is what this chanel make unique. You work be here years and you honest reviews helping many people now and in future. Maybe for half price this e-scooter can be bestseler and people find this review super usefull. 👍🏻
Nice review. It's strange that too much vibration. On my Widewheel Pro it's much more comfortable than this one. At least no vibrations on the asphalt or bike lanes. And Widewheel Pro is very stable and high torque.
Hero’s are pricey at that price point you should have pneumatic tires, even at $500 you can get a much more comfortable scooter from China
Agreed and btw i followed you on IG months ago
I watched a few other videos of the s8 review and no one has posted a review describing the s8 in this kind of way. I also watched a few customer videos and no one made it sound like your video. Then I watched a few of your other videos and of course if you test very expensive scooters and compare them all equally by ride quality then yea you will hate on all cheaper scooters. What other solid tire scooter have you tested that is way better than this one? Some people buy solid not to have flats. I've owned an etwow and it's a solid tire and it's a great ride. My friend had 3 flats in a few months on his air tire scooter. I will keep looking for more reviews on this scooter
This is true. Once you ride a high end buttery smooth $2000+ scooter, everything else seems like a kids toy.
Well.. strange price in US , cause I bought s8 21AH for 900€ and x8 dual motor 23AH for 1500€ . And the both suspensions works fine with my 100kg .
What is the name of RGB App. My Hero S9 always had Green light. I didint know its RGB lights that have so many colors.
No way it can be waterproof. My Dualtron was water damaged from getting rained on in the back of my truck. I never rode in the rain, but it cost me $500.00 to learn that scooters do not come stock, with any real water resistance.
my back was hurts, even by looking at that vibration😬
Lol. Dont use this scooter off road, ugh.
How can i contact hero? i know im a small UA-camr, and i love e bikes and e scooters
I don’t think Hero will be rushing to send you any more scooters.
Welp might be true but i gotta stay honest in my work :)
@@mr_wrongway 👍 exactly.
I don't think you're being honest. Sorry
Agree with a slightly rough ride but not as exaggerated as you make it to be , suspension makes for it to a degree but it’s not as bad , now if you ride on sidewalks and crazy pot holes and stuff of course you going to feel them .
I own one for about two months now and this thing is fast , no hills problems , well build and their customer service is very reliable and on point.
After going 27 mph decided to stop I’m not a fan of going too fast but the speed is there , I can easy go 30 plus .
@@jellisellis8558 I’ll take your word on it. I’ve been hearing nothing but good things on the s8 in the comments section. ✌️
Clearly, the free scooter didn't influence the review. They may make you send it back after that review! I have an E-TWOW with solid tires and while not a smooth ride, it's entirely tolerable. And the drum brake in the rear rarely requires adjustment and modulates quite well. I'd gladly sacrifice a little stopping power on the drum brake for the lower maintenance that comes along with it.
You get a like for the video, but I've seen enough of this scooter. I wouldn't want it even if it were IP68.
please make a review of fiido q1 thanks, shout out from the philippines
The as-s4 is worse than the one on zero 10x, I have use the same one you have for about one month before the factory replacement arrive.
This scooter costs 1200 in Australia vs 2300 for zero 8x. So which one would you buy?
Again I see you walking 👀👀👀👀👀
🤣🤣🤣
Beast! 🖖🏼😎👍🏻❤️⚡😅
Hi how to control the lights using phone?
Interesting, we did not get S8 and S9 from @Herorider Electric Scooter but from other youtuber that got it from them, and there is absolutely no reason for us to manufacture any results, and i must say that You and me have absolutely different opinions on S8, things you like i dont like and vice versa :-) My review will be uploaded this week and it would be great to hear your opinion on it. Keep up a good work!
The title makes me nervous I just put 110 miles on mine I like it a lot so far
Does it really go 30 mph and 40 miles. Thanks
Evan Tripp I’m about 190lb with gear its top end is around 28-29 depending on battery as for range I normally get about 30ish miles riding full speed so 40 id buy if you were going slower I like it a lot.
@@bensmith6868 thanks man. One last question. How’s the acceleration. Thanks
Evan Tripp haha it’s pretty great
@@bensmith6868 thanks I was looking for a scooter under 1200 this might be the one
Which one is better for going down/up stairs....msp/rs or the v11?
Down and up msp and just down v11
@@mr_wrongway Up Msp Torq.
@@mr_wrongway I refrase going down better v11 or msp/rs? Thank you
Take it apart.
iz it Disassemble TiMe?
Your honestly is appreciated
RIP open that HERO!£€¥₩#@
Great video as always but I am seeing a lot of parts copied from the Dualtron Mini that I have like the folding mechanism, from suspension arm and deck front and rear LED lights. The deck and kick tail also have the similar features of the DT Mini? Just does not look as strong and robust!
It run my pounds is 250 so is work for me
This is Merica. We dont do KM. WTH is KM. MPH bro, C-Mon Man!
Hard wheels hard ride.
Fantastic Scooter..Its a shame a Shill is reviewing it..
is not good low run
Great and in-depth review! Was considering buying this but the lack of hill climbing turned me off.
Kiedy wreszcie przetestujesz Hollyburn P5 or SS from Works Electric.Czekam i czekam!!!! Rion z USA udało sie przetestowac az w Paryzu!!!! Czekam tylko na ten jeden test!!!!!
Kurka nie bedzie lekko
Dasz rade.Wierze w Ciebie!!!!!! Pozdrawiam z Chicago!
Dzieki :) pozdro z Wawy!
I like the scooter, but I don't think I'd pay so much for it.
Will we get a S9 review as well?
Got you. Yes of course!
You right. To ride wide solid tire scooters must have MASTER LEVEL skills. But if you start with this type of scooter you ride on everything. The engines are 1000W nominal but they write on covers 800W.48V is to low for this engines. The engines easy take 52V and 60V.Shock absorbers on this tires after 1000km were not exist, too low deck,140mm break discs, two screw handlebar with this square steam...NO.NO.NO.For the + maybe the LEDs.As a another user with ZERO8X with almost 6100km ODO ...IMO this scooter is a BAD JOKE it cause laught but not everyone understand it ;)
I looked and the specs, and the S8 looks way too expensive for what it is. I'm glad someone else agrees with me it is not a good scooter to buy. If it were MUCH cheaper it might be OK, but it is only like $400 USD cheaper than a 10x. I'll pass.
Is there anything good in this scooter in your review.i see you just complaining.
just add a front motor!

Thanks bro for your honesty!! 👍👍 Rip Hero s8
I’ve owned this scooter for 8 months and it’s been broken most of that time. The wiring is shockingly bad and the holes in the top of the deck allows water to flow into the poorly sealed electrics. Brake cable gets in the way of steering. Rattling and loose bolts, fenders don’t work. Overall a good battery with great range in a very badly built copy (rip off) of the dualtron mini.
Bahahahahahahah I’m dead! What a fantastic honest and perfect review. I will never buy this piece of garbage. So happy with my zero10x
