I had some friends ( a married couple) who took his tour 3-4 years ago. They said Frank drove them himself and there was no bodyguard at that point. He picked them up in his own car. Said it was all they could have hoped for and more. When Frank was in witpro he actually lived in our city for awhile. Wasn't b.s.ing. Knew details and everything. Wild. Friends wife actually kept up with him after the tour. Said Frank was quite the character. His health was pretty bad and she used to call and check in with him from time to time.
I tried buying a signed book off his website. When it took too long to get I emailed the site about it. Frank himself started emailing and sent me a signed book. He then emailed me again to tell me he sent, then bitched at me for being in Canada because the shipping ate into his profits. I offered to cover the shipping and he just said he was happy I wanted his book.
I hit the prescribe button Frank! I’m a fellow Chicago native, south side! You’re the man! You are right about us talking different than the guys in New York! I hope you live to a healthy active 100!
dont know if you guys gives a shit but if you guys are bored like me during the covid times you can watch all of the new series on InstaFlixxer. I've been binge watching with my girlfriend for the last few weeks :)
No doubt! RIP Frank! You were definitely one of the last of a dying breed of MEN. I don't care what he did for a living....We are all imperfect beings, and passing judgement isn't for any of us here on earth to do. Real Men are unapologetically themselves...no matter who's around, where they are and stand on their beliefs and their actions at all times. Frank I hope you enjoy everlasting love and peace! Rest in Paradise sir.
The man was a mobster, yes. But in the end he was also wise, entertaining, and a VERY captivating story teller with some hardcore lessons to tell. I enjoyed his UA-cam channel (COFFEE WITH CULLOTTA) very much as he interacted with his viewers and cohost in ways that few content producers could or would. When he spoke of his life he would take you back into a different time, permitting you to picture everything as it was, and giving you a clear image of what happened as he spoke along. You were right there with him as a street thug in his teen years to breaking in to jewelry stores with the gang, getting busted by cops, sent up the river, etc. He was simply that good. In many ways the Morgan Freeman of the mob world as far as his voice and narration went. His channel was a must during this seemingly never ending COVID quarantine period. He did some bad things earlier on in his life but we only know of them because of his willingness to share them. And in sharing he also included his remorse and regret for much of his actions. I for one will miss the guy, RIP Franky.
Cullotta’s books are really excellent and fascinating. He has had a really unique stretch here on earth so far. He describes his life up the age of 21 which was fkn crazy and could’ve been a book. He states that he never wanted to be an outfit guy, never wanted to have to answer to anybody or ask permission for anything. Then his life from 21 on could’ve been another book, his exodus from prison and subsequent move to Vegas to work with and for Spilotro, his restaurant the Upper Crust and all the drama associated with it, discovering the place was bugged and finding the actual wire then following it to the FBI’s hide and stealing their surveillance equipment, unreal. Plus the tons of other stories he goes into, the scores, the wise guy he associated & pulled jobs with. Overall they are first rate books, well worth a couple books for the hours of entertainment. Such an unbelievable life. Thanks Frank, great interview!
My point was again, his life story is interesting and his books are entertaining. Yeah he hurt people, if that’s too much for you to handle done read any of them or watch his interviews
I had a sit down with Frankie. I was wit the Gambino adjunct family known as the Farto Family. I told Frankie “you disrespected the Farto Family wit your breaking wind at our church. Flatulence in our church frowned upon.” He cut the cheese with a big stinky and walked away.

I grew up In the same neighborhood and went to the same highschool but in the 80s and 90s. My first job was delivering pizzas and my boss would send me to social club frequently, all mob. My buddies dad would hang out there all the time. Lots of mob even in my days, lost some friends at young ages for messing around and trying to act like gangsters. I have a rap sheet myself, caught my first felony at 13, we all grew up wise guys in that neighborhood.
Wonder did Frank ever feel relived that certain gangsters got wacked because they were just bad human beings. Frank is a stand up guy if you are straight with Frank he is straight with you.
Thank you Frank ( I know you’ve passed on, RIP, ) for saying there’s no East side in Chicago. The East Side is the Lake. I hear people refer to the East Side and it drives me bonkers.
The movie CASINO was about the CHICAGO OUTFIT (Mob), the producers had to switch the main characters place of origin to Kanas City because of legal and location concerns. So yes; Pesci, De Niro and most of the mob cats in the movie were playing CHICAGO mobsters. FACTZ ✔️👊🏽✔️
@Peter Goezinya The Outfit and to a lesser extent, the other Midwest families controlled the Teamsters Pension Fund. If you wanted to build a casino, that's who financed it back then. The Outfit was on the Commission since 1931, and the meeting to create the Commission was held in Chicago.
He's got no reason to lie..I belive him.. I've been around all kinds of peaple and his manarisms etc are not false. He seems the real deal to me. I've grew up around these types but in England. From what I've seen peaple who would've been clashed as hit men and Armed robbers, dealers big and small, shoplifters, Articulated lorry robbers, fraudsters, burglars , (both domestic.and commercial), every type of criminal both smalltime and big..He's the genuine article to me. Not classed gangster in America but would be in UK he's what we call in UK a "good grafter" which are old style gangsters, an active criminal who gets decent money. We call it the "prize," which can be money and or jewellery (tom foolery), fraudulently aquired or stolen merchandise of value like electrical or clothes, even food. And as we would say, good luck to em.
Frank had said many times that Tony "made" him in Vegas, so he was an official member of la cosa nostra. This, like many other things Tony did, was almost definitely not known about back home, completely invalidated official status

Uncle Frank 🕵♂learned a very valuable lesson about using 1/2 loads. Along with telephone 📞 lines. Doing a semi professional hit. The chlorine & water 💦 in the pool 🏊♀ quick and refreshing way to dispose of ( DNA ) evidence!!!
He was involved in 4 murders. He set up the two guys in the Mand M murders in Chicago ,but didn’t actually kill those two , just lured them to their deaths where associates did the rest. Then there were the 2 he actually committed himself at separate times.
If this man took lives WHY the F%^K is he not in prison right now? I dont care what deal he cut, I dont care what guard he saved to get out early. You needlessly take someones life you forfeit your own,PERIOD!
This is the 2nd interview with Frank where he leaves me confused regarding the Outfit's leadership. I've read that The Waiter was the undisputed boss from 43-47 and was the defacto boss from 31-47. After going to prison, Joe Batters became the acting boss from 47-57. Ricca, once out of prison, would serve as an "advisor" (not necessarily consiglieri) until he passed away in 72 since he could not be present around other mob figures as part of the terms of his parole. However, he along with Accardo, would still make the executive decisions no matter whom the acting boss was at the time. Then, Paul told Tony to step down from his role as Boss in the late 50's due to federal charges. However, Accardo like Ricca, would still represent the highest authority in the Outfit. I guess my question is why does Frank say that Paul was boss from 62-72 after Tony retired? They were both in the same semi-retirement, were they not? They would avoid the attention by installing acting bosses (Giancana, Battaglia, Doves, etc.). So in some respects, Ricca was the real Boss, but he held the same power he did since 1931. Frank makes it seem like Accardo was Boss before him and retired first. I don't mean to question his knowledge as he has more inside information than any of us. It just conflicts with other historical documentation I've researched from numerous sources.
If Leo was the greatest burglar in the world, why would he always turn the pictures face down? I know why I mean why would he have a clear m.o. that the cops could use to associate him to a particular burglary? It seems extremely short sighted and reckless. I'm assuming this was just an isolated incident that Frank saw and not something that Leo did religiously. If not and that was his routine, it would certainly preclude him from "best burglar if all time" status
Frank talks about meeting her in an episode with coffee with Cullotta and says he ran into her at a pharmacy when he was in witsec and she asked him for $ to pay for her script and he gave her 300$(I think) and her and her son r selling perks to supplement their income..he even arranged for her to get a car(Ford Taurus or something nothing extravagant) to help her
I think the one guy to testify that they did was junior calabrese, and he wasn't a made man, so it's a mystery. There are several people that said there wasn't a ceremony.
