    The 3 biggest mistakes I made that turned me into a walking injury were:
    1. Not taking my poor flexibility seriously
    2. Looking for quick fixes
    3. Blaming ONE muscle for all my problems
    So many of us get caught making these mistakes, which can rob us of the progress we want and stop us from feeling how we want to feel!
    The exercises in this video have helped so many people overcome limitations and get back to doing the things they love!
    Remember, always work towards Stupid Strong 💪🏻💪🏻

    Since I stopped typical online stretching routines you mentioned and do incorporate the stretch more into my strength training (e.g. deep squat patterns, RDLs, flexion rows...) my mobility has improved like crazy all over my body and also I build a good amount of muscle and strength

    • @TomMorrison
      @TomMorrison  12 днів тому +7

      Yeah it’s one of those things! You stretch when you move so do deeper ranges with some exercises and load it up! Two birds and all that!

    Haha! That was very, very good! Next level in all aspects: script, format, editing, model work (JP in knots and Jenni obviously having a gas while wobbling around and trying different weird moves!), ideas and the elusive tone of the presentation. Bravo!

    I can now stand on one leg, waaaaayyyy longer than I used to... and lean into all sorts of directions and not fall over!😁
    AND, toe raises, and splaying. There is little more movement there, too!😊

    You must of been a 1980s Rockstar in a previous lifetime with that Robert Plant like fine hair.
    Jenny is practicing her curtsy lunge for future meeting of the queen.
    I remember doing animal movement for wrestling warmup back in Secondary School.
    We also used to do walking lunges with arms extended overhead holding a 25 kg weight plate.

    • @TomMorrison
      @TomMorrison  12 днів тому +4

      Yes I prefer using step back or walking as it stops people shoving their weight through their knees so much really! One of the biggest tips really is just to go super slow when you do them for a while in any variation

    Tom, what do you think of wall angels?

    • @TomMorrison
      @TomMorrison  6 днів тому +1

      Never need to use them with people really, a lot of shoulder limitations come from the upper back so fixing that usually means the wall angel isn’t really an issue for people, nice if you like them tho 💪🏼
