Fully Grown Adults Ride 4ft Boards | S.U.R.F Ep 2 'Undersize'

- Generally speaking, most boards we ride are taller than our collarbones. But what if they only could only reach your belly button?
In the second episode of S.U.R.F. - our surfers were partnered up with a shaper of their choosing to hand shape, paint and then surf a custom board. The only rule being the board must be under 4ft tall.
Jaleesa picked Neal Purchase Jnr, Krooky chose Luke Daniels, Vinnie selected Dom Sullivan and Ozzy didn’t not appoint Joel Fitzgerald.
Then they got judged by our panel of 9 (semi-)local expert judges: Stace Galbraith, Jacob Boylan, Kahu Andronicus, Karis Simmons, Josie Pendergast, Danny Wills, Vaughan Blakey, Shinya Dalby and Pauline Menczer - to determine who did best.
Because they are experts, they determine 70% of the vote. The remaining 30% will be decided by the audience vote at our screening party in Byron on the 27th of October - which you should come to and tell all your friends about.

Kgrooky and Jaleesa's boards were definitely the best looking. Vinnie and Ozzy were surfing pretty good but clearly surfing their boards like against the will of the board.

This is a cool idea, my go to super small wave board has been a 4'11" board shaped by brian bulkley who used to shape for lost. It looks like a noserider longboard that got shrunk with a short board squash tail. Thing goes insanely well in small mush. Way more high performance than these shapes. (My profile picture is on the 4'11")
