something about this tribal, the jesse cody arc, how brutal yet beautiful this move was just moved me in a way that survivor hasn’t for me in a long time. this was incredible and is up there with all time in survivor for me, pulling for jesse now but will be very happy with my winner pick cass winning too. i loved cody, so sad to see him go but just wow. this is the survivor i’ve always loved
well said. i feel the exact same way. incredible but such a tough watch. solid episode for sure. i loved the cody jesse duo and to have it end in this way was just -- i have no words. i hope they are on good terms man. cody was super fun to watch all season long, definitely my favorite.
I wish cody and jesse went further together loved their duoship but yeah i understand the bindside by jesse so sad cause Cody was so devoted to jesse. Guess thats how a blindside works. I even heard from cody's exit interview with "the entertaiment" said he felt really bad after the Nneka blindside that he would never do the to Jesse again
I'm stunned. I loved Cody, he was my favourite to win, but I have to say, this blindside was amazing. The friendship beetween Cody and Jesse was amazing and it was so heart-warming when they shook their hands. This was one of the best eliminations in last seasons.
This was epic. One of the best blindsides to date and also the music used for Cody's exit was so dam good. Psyched for finale tonight and rooting for Jesse
speechless. i loved cody, loved the codesse duo, but man to see it end like this was tough, man. cody was by far the most entertaining and best character on the season, and if jesse wins, mad respect cause you dont find friendships like that on survivor very often, but hes doing it for those he cares most about, and i wouldnt be mad if he won. what an episode, definitely up there for best of the season and this moment i will never forget. mahalo yall
this tribal was PERFECT. The fact that Jesse used Cody's OWN IDOL to screw him over and flushed Karla's in the process was insane. God I wish he won fire, and he better be back on a returnee season.
I'll come out and say it. This will go down as the best strategic move in the show's history IF Jesse is extremely confident at making fire, as in like he practiced extensively before playing. 10/10 blindside, episode, and move
@@jjmara01 I really think with what we seen of him, he could've practiced before the season and hid his expertise from everyone. At least that's what I want.
The last time I was this surprised by a tribal council was Amanda at the final 5 using an idol. Beautiful play. Such a brutal move, but also Cody recognizing he got outplayed hard.
That’s where I disagree. Jesse was clearly the brains the whole time. Cody was carried in that way. Great social player though. To me it was Jesse, Karla, Noelle, or James since merge. Gabler a silent sleeper if he can get Jesse in fire maybe. Karla most likely going home next episode.
@@WFE-cl6yt Cody was 100% the front runner. Jesse hadn't won anything. Although he did have some great plays before this move Jesse also went with some of Codys plans. Jesse would not have won between him and cody if not for this move. Sad Jesse couldnt make fire....
@@ZachPlochocki i agree...jesse was strategically and politically really good..but cody was the all rounder..he won challenges and was socially very good, politically he and jesse made good moves..
The thing I think people ignore about this move by Jesse is that it may not have been a good move for his game! Jesse made himself the frontrunner and his move was so flashy that he was a huge target going into the final 2 eliminations! I think he should have tried to get Cody out at the final 4 to at least give him the chance of not needing to make fire, because once Cody was gone, so was his shield!
I totally agree!! It was too early to get out Cody.. and it all plays out in the end because Jesse doesn’t win anyways 😂😂 nobody else was a threat besides him after Cody was gone...
3:15 - I was not a fan of majority of the season, but the last few episodes really pulled through. THIS moment was epic! Like seeing an old western or something.
That was one of the most brutal betrayals and eliminations that I have seen on this show. 😮 And I have watched this show for well over a decade. And it made a great TV! Sucked for Cody, but it was probably the best episode of the season. All I can say for Cody is that he gets another chance to play. And I think he will get it.
Well done Jesse!! Cody gets the blindside of the season and Karla burns her idol. And Jesse still has Jeanine’s idol and nobody knows that. My pre-season picks Owen and Cassidy are still alive. I hope one of them wins it all.
I watched it today and feel the same emotion as the first time i have watched this. Great tribal. That betrayal sucks alot! I love Cody and hope to see him more next. 😢

I even heard from cody's exit interview with "the entertaiment" said he felt really bad after the Nneka blindside that he would never do the to Jesse again
Even though I wanted Cody to win badly (bring him back CBS), 43 had been very lackluster up until this point and I jumped up and down from excitement when finally something this big happened. Much needed and will go down as a top 10 blindside imo
The fact that people are happy with Cassidy being the winner is one of the reasons I don’t like the new era of survivor, Cassidy has literally done nothing this entire game, or if she has, it’s been edited so poorly that the editors need to work on showing the winners moves a lot more. I don’t respect peoples games that literally ‘stay under the radar’ that shouldn’t be what gets you the million. Jesse has played a flawless game from start to finish. He was in control on his pre merge tribe, and him and Cody were in control the entire post merge. And in my opinion Jesse sealed himself the win by voting out his main competition last night. It’s his to lose easily, all he has to do is play his idol at 5 and then at the very least has a fire making challenge. If he makes to 3. He should win pretty comfortably. People saying the edit is too obvious, we’ll maybe it’s just that you can’t hide such a dominant display (like tony in both his winning seasons)
I still think Owen And Gab should have played Jesse. If he got the idol that easily… I would be threatened, plus it’s on his resume not yours. I swear some players just sit back.
I was also confused. The edit makes it seem like Cody had his idol. However, Jesse played a red idol, meaning it was Cody’s. Jeanine’s is yellow. We will probably get a flashback next episode about it.
Unpopular opinion here: That wasn't that great of a blindside. It is exactly because of this that Jesse was eliminated. It was too early. He lost his greatest alliance when he needed it most. That blindisde gave him wings, but took away the sky. Plus (subjective), took away my fav.
I agree with this tbh. I think he should've taken out owen f6. Here's why If Owen goes f6, everyone still sees karla as a threat so she goes f5. Cassidy probably still wins immunity f4, and I think she would view Cody as the biggest threat. So she puts gabler vs Cody to get Cody out. Jesse then wins versus cass and gabler.
You do know as viewers we don't get every single moment in time with the contestants. We have no idea when things are filmed or if it's been cut from editing
Jesse no doubt wins if he gets to the end, I"m rooting for him. Sorry Cassidy stans, but I struggle to find a reason the jury would vote her over...basically anyone else left.
Because she ran the merge literally confirmed from numerous jurors? Why don’t you read the exit press and interviews like a rational fan and not getting spoon fed from fuck ass editors that don’t know how to give female winners decent edits. Besides, Survivor is a social game at heart. If you get the votes at the end, you deserve the win. End of story, FREAK.
