How to do plan your reading in 2024? 😀 I'm back next week with the January releases breakdown video, and soon I will have the Determined review up as well. Take care and thanks for supporting the BookLab!
Great review Bjorn! I don’t really make a set list for books to read where I tell myself, I have to finish a certain number of books. The only one I kind of want to finish is Ali Abdaal’s ‘Feel Good Productivity’ but that’s about it. ‘Gulag’ by Ann Appelbaum is kind of in the background. I have been trying to finish it on and off for years. And possibly’Man’s Search for Meaning.’ However, I more or less focus on consistently. Sometimes I do get tired because I read and study all day for school or decide to go back on Duolingo for a language lesson instead. For example, one of my goals this year is to finish Duolingo Swedish. I only have 6 sections left. Most of my goals is maintaining consistency. I heard of ‘War & Peace’ but never read it yet. There was an episode of ‘Charlie Brown’ I watched as a kid where he has to finish a report on the book over it was either winter or spring break. The book is so heavy he had to cart it around in some trolley. He finishes the book report. And’The Bible’ and ‘Quran’ have been on my list for sometime now but don’t foresee getting around to reading them for quite a while.
I’m quite flexible with what I read too. I like to keep a list because then I have a starting point when I’m choosing a new book to read. It’s a more a list of “good ideas”to choose from, rather than a “law” I have to adhere to. It works as a reminder of what I want to read, and if I feel like striking one of the books off the list then I do, otherwise I look for books elsewhere. 😀 best of luck with your Swedish lessons
I am just loving a book Coming out as dalit by Yashika Dutt and it is my favourite book.❤ it gives a period of dalit lives and talks about social issues like caste discrimination and many such of her life to her interest towards Ambedkar ❤
That's actually a topic I want to explore. I will add the topic of Caste to my list. I can't promise I pick exactly this book, but thanks for reminding me that caste is a topic worth reading up on =). What books are you looking forward to read in 2024?

I think Shoe Dog and becoming
@@saheelahmed6338 shoe dog is alright! 👍🏻 read it a few years ago. Becoming is the Michelle Obama book, right?
I hope you read my recommendation😂
