The real question is, who brought the live round on to the set?! Are they going to look for the real culprit, or culprits?
@@marthabenjamin7803 to be honest it’s irrelevant in the case against Baldwin. Live bullets are used for practicing in the movie industry which’s scary.
Baldwin is the one who handled the gun who should have double checked to make sure the ammunition was not live. Accidents happen all the time so you can never rely on others when it comes to guns that can harm and/or kill people.
Hopefully, but the producer is always ultimately responsible - even for hiring people that bring live rounds on set.

Whoever handles a gun must understand what a responsible gun ownership entails. I don’t care that he used it for a movie set or not. Before you pull that trigger you better had double and triple checked YOURSELF that the bullets were fake. He didn’t do that. This is a negligent.
Imagine if someone hands you a gun and asks you to play battleship with your child, would you start shootings without making sure the gun is fake? I don’t think so.

This is so disheartening to watch...Alec Baldwin never had any run-ins with the law.he's a well known celebrity and a family man.hes never abused his wife or cheated on her.he made us laughed for many years on tv because its his passion its his job as a career and a decent movie actor as well....at the end of the day yes he pulled the trigger but that doesnt mean hes responsible.there is a foul play here.sombody set up somebody
He has been arrested 4 times. 1995 for breaking a photographer nose. 2014 for going off on cops when they stopped him from riding his bike in the wrong direction. In 2018, he punched a man in the jaw during an argument over a parking spot. Finally, he was arrested for the killing of a coworker.
Additionally, he was kicked off a plane for playing video games when asked to turn off his phone.
2013 fought with different photographers just days from each other where the police were called. No charges were filled.

@clisig2153 Live ammunition can help actors feel what it's like to fire a gun and understand how to react to recoil during a scene.
As a producer and a principal actor, it would have a service they would have requested.

Didn't the prosecutor say in her opening statement that the bullet that killed the lady hit the director too and that it got lodged in his back and they had to remove it at the hospital? The defense attorney says they kept looking for the "lethal bullet" so I'm confused.
Why were the live rounds brought to the set is the big question!
