At this time, I would like to mention that our chorus core group only started singing together less than 7 weeks ago. More than half of the chorus you see before you have never sung as part of a group in public until today. For some of our members this is their first time singing to an audience. For a group of mostly beginners for their first time out, I think we’re doing pretty good.
We hold rehearsals every Friday night here at the Monkland Community Centre. Our rehearsals are open to the public to come in and listen. We ask for a 2$ donation at the door to help keep this chorus going. And we are looking for a few more singers to join us. No experience necessary. If you love to sing, and want a chance to do it, then please show up on Friday nights and join the experience.
