The aim of this video is not to throw any shade at Mojang nor the community. Just a little video I wanted to make about the mob vote :) Hope you all enjoyed!❤
How else are we gonna get the scutes? Okay but in all seriousness I wouldn't say they "killed the crab." It is confirmed the losers of the mob vote will return in later updates as long as they "fit the theme." I wouldn't be surprised if the copper or tuff golem get announced next year as they match the "tinkering" theme they're going for in 1.21
There are times we look ahead. A time to a false hope, despite everything that was done. The outcome was already decided, we just hung to a dying idea. One that fate had already decided. Now we have to live with the fact we lost. Despite never having a chance to win, we may have revolted and stood up. But we the minority were ignored. The war is lost, it is over. Life must go on.
Love that shader! Looks amazing in the oceans. As for the mob vote controversy: While I think the whole revolution thing is dumb, it's surprising Mojang hasn't said anything regarding the community uproar.
Mojang has become one of the most laziest companies I've ever seen. There are single team modders creating entirely new biomes with dozens of new mobs/blocks, new dimensions with intricate portal systems with dozens of new mobs/blocks, and mods that completely overhaul the entirety of minecraft and introduce new things to the game, and add dozens of new mobs. You're telling me a multi-million dollar company cannot add three mobs to the game? Yet a single developer can add dozens of new blocks, biomes, and mobs by themselves with fairly consistent updates? I just don't get it dude, seriously. I really think these votes are rigged and give the illusion of choice. They put up three mobs, and only one of them is complete. They then get bots to just spam vote the completed mob to win by a landslide, and act like the community chose. Lets not forget that over 50% of the community that 'voted', did so AGAINST the Armadillo.
There are plenty of reasons why Mojang is unable to add all 3 mobs or make bigger updates. One reason why modders are faster is that they don't have to go through multiple people and departments to get their additions to the game approved. Game development is a business and because of that it is crucial that everything is done very methodically. It is understandable to be upset at Mojang but I'm sure they'll appreciate it, if you show a little more kindness their way. I'm sure Mojang employees work tirelessly
@@lumiklaud I firmly disagree. They're a multi-million dollar company, and they're releasing one mob? There are multiple different minecraft games, mojang owns that have more mob variety than minecraft. There is zero excuse one man mod teams are doing more work than a multi-million dollar company, with 700 employees and the backing of microsoft. It is pure corporate greed. It does not require 'methodical' work to add new mobs, I'd know I've made minecraft mods before.
Out of 2 promising mobs (crab, penguin), they chose the most USELESS, in the objectively WORST biome. Like hell, why would armour for wolves change anything? Wolves suck for combat, a single crystal or firework and BOOM. All 3 should have been added instead, instead of having the community keep choosing the worst option every time
in my opinion the penguin was more useless, like wow my boat goes slightly faster how amazing, what made penguin even have votes is that people always wanted it to be in the game. mojang really should have added all 3, every mob has something people want
@@supertheblueoctagonall 3 were good. Penguins could give a speed boost to boats on ice, potentially making the fastest speed method in the game even better, crab offered amazing building potential, and even if it didn't offer PvP or block breaking, considering alone how many people build and experiment in creative having plenty of reach would be amazing Armadillo was... Nice, wolf armor was wanted for years, but wolves could already be decently strong, if the armor can be enchanted is the only reason I'd consider it worthwhile, if not then armadillos were a mistake.

"War. War never changes."
they win guys...
mojang win...
the house always wins
It’s a terrible day for rain 😔
Everytime I see an armadillo in game I'll kill it immediately. They killed the crab

No, community chose it, no.?
Yeah sadly can't say that this was unexpected

It's the complementary shader, one of my favourites!
Someone explain to me what happened this year with the mob vote I'm out of the loop
Just the usual mob vote controversy except this time people edited pro-union posters to be minecraft themed.
@@yabbles617 lol
People were upset that Mojang gave them a choice between three mobs instead of just adding all three. Honestly it’s much ado about nothing

the flaws of 1 man 1 vote
its literally how democracies can be rigged
