@normis99 oh...bye the way...all our fleet of nissan pathfinders, nissan patrols & toyota landcruisers (140 vehicles) are running on the same fuel. the pathfinders have no problems as they have heating elements in the fuel filter.
The patrols and cruisers have older turbo diesel engines which i suppose have less fine filters.

@normis99 No, I am not. I owned 2 300Tdi´s before and also never had a problem in this regard. This is a problem specific to the Td4 due to the much finer filter element which is known to LR. You will be surprised to hear that I was in touch with my Land-Rover shop but we are still waiting for a reply from the UK. I think there is no other solution except keeping the Diesel liquid with a heating element.
If you would read some LR forums you would see that this is currently a very common problem.

@normis99 Cold here is about -15 degrees celsius at the moment. i am not arguing that the diesel quality contributes to the problem. i am using the most expensive "euro-diesel" that is available here in georgia and i am adding the Wuerth additive. only thing that really helps is an electric blower heater directed for 45 minutes at the fuel filter. then it runs without problem. however...i am buying a defender not to run in western europe on fancy fuel but anywhere..so..i am not happy.

Nice video, however its of no use to me. My Defender Td4 does not drive at all in the cold! Just because its a bit cold the Diesel filter is plugged up because Land-Rover did not think of putting in a heating element like other manufacturers. Why did i buy a Defender? Because i thought it goes anytime anywhere...

i need help with my range rover, i haven't serviced it for around 16k miles! and i think your supposed to service it every 10 miles. Will I Get An Extra Fee? What Will Happen When I Service It?
