+Music Selection I don't think this one by Frank is too well known now, maybe if he'd yodelled a bit more on it folks would remember.lol..Catchya later,,,,Mick :-))
This is another masterpiece from Mr. Ifield. I really love his style of singing and yodeling. I know the Gogi Grant's version, which hit #1 in the US back in the mid-50's, and my favourite American country singer Crystal Gayle did a cover version on one of her albums, but in my opinion, those are no competition to this beautiful rendition by Frank. The producer Norrie Paramor must have been a true genius! Thanks again, Mick!!
+ksm198002 Hello again,I'm not familiar with the other versions of this song that you mention, but I will certainly look them up and have a listen !..Yes,Mr.Paramor was certainly a terrific producer, for very many artists, but here's a quote from the Wikipedia "Despite his record of success as a producer, he died in obscurity without receiving any public recognition from any British institution"...mmm,I wonder why?
+flatop47 Thanks very much Brian, glad you enjoyed this hit from old Frank....I'm pleased to see that you are on here, looks like everyone else is still in bed.lol
