Because Amelia can only make cars with Turtles in it, or turtles if it's a living being. She said it herself "so many Turtles that it makes you say 'why? Why turtles again?'"
if he had left this encounter with a busted jaw or broken leg he might've lived to actually see reason. the problem with Simon was that he was able-bodied, he could go out and make some sad pitiful scavenger life for himself as well as drag others into his suffering. he wasn't old, he wasn't weak, he wasn't impaired, and he wasn't quite alone so he could continue to build himself up even in the face of the truth. the only thing i wished had happened was for Simon's final moment to be visions of his family having moved on, even having another kid who is now the age he was when he got on the train (or something) with now context to let him know whether or not the missed him/he still had a place in their hearts.
i'm so surprised at how high amelia's number still is. not only did she leave oneone where he's supposed to be, she's even trying to make things right. like that's very big of her to do that.
Amelia was straight up about to just break Simon's fucking leg then crush his throat beneath her boot if Hazel didn't say anything. Grace wasn't doing shit outside of yelling at Simon to stop. She didn't move to help. She knew, just like us, that Simon would have died in all likelihood. She wanted it. She knew she'd made a bigger monster than the ones she'd convinced herself existed all throughout the train. And the train has some scary shit both on, and outside it. But she can't kill him. No no no. When you make a monster, and it smiles at you as a child smiles at its parents, it becomes that much harder to do what needs to be done. But Amelia doesn't care. Hell, offing Simon would've brought her number back to its original value if anything.
It’s worth remembering that for all the horrible things Simon did-he was following Grace’s lead. She taught him every belief he has, and likely would’ve never changed if she hadn’t believed Hazel to be a passenger. If she had been turtle-esque when they first met, Grace likely would have written her off the same way Simon does later. Maybe even killed her. Tuba wouldn’t have gotten a chance to live without Hazel there, that’s for sure. Point is, Simon’s monstrous actions are direct consequences of believing in Grace’s way of life, so we can’t absolve her of that responsibility. Simon may be the one stuck in his ways, but Grace has been killing denizens like Lake and Tuba and brainwashing hundreds of children to do the same for a very, very long time. From his perspective she was a hypocrite, believing lies from someone working for the person who’s been hunting his family, just cuz she developed a fondness for someone whom he was taught by Grace herself was not deserving of it. Simon is horrible, he’s truly the worst kind of human there is, and there are no excuses for that. We just have to accept that Grace isn’t exactly a good person either. I mean Grace changes, and that’s great-but she’s got a long, long way to go before she can be considered redeemed in any meaningful way. Just important to remember.
Like the detail that Amelia always says One and not One One and her suit just has one dot not two like how we first see him. Makes me think that One One lost his mind during his exile.
Honestly, how was Amelia’s number still so high? I find it really really big of her to want to make amends with oneone. It was probably harder for her to fully let go of ulrick than she thought. Unless if they want to make a plot twist out of it. They=the infinity train people who make the show.
Think about it, she spent over thirty years on the train, not just refusing to let go of her problems; but she OVERTHREW the train conductor and tampered with it for her own benefit. That's a long time to build up a high number. She did a lot of things against the train's purpose so her number increased. Even if she accepted to let go of Ulrick, she still has to make amends for what she did after overthrowing One-One. Her purpose is now to 'fix' the train, after that if she has properly reconciled with her trauma with Ulrick, the train will open a door for her. The train stacks your inability to cope with your problems as well as just being a complete asshole.
So the train is basically therapy for those who need to work out their issues and they don’t get to go home until they have a breakthrough (aka get their number to zero). The higher your number is the bigger your issue is and the longer you stay.

Wow...THIS! 👍👍👍
Pretty much, yeah.
Damn Amelia was willing to straight up Murder Simon...
Amelia*
dam simon you're gonna punch an old woman
Honestly he would punch anyone
Simon reminds me of Stanley from SCP confinement
I always hated simon even when we first saw them he's just a kid who refused to grow up and instead became a monster this is gonna sound messed up but I enjoyed seeing him die
Eh i dont think it was that messed up the dude was given a chance at redemption and smacked it away after he tried to hurt an old lady kill a parental figure scar a 6 year old and felt no remorse of his actions i was spoiled that he was gonna die and when he killed tuba i was like IM GONNA LOVE WATCHING THIS ASS HAT DIE!!! because i loved tubas character and when he went back to make sure she was dead after she helped him he came to a 6 year and was like "hey guys i just killed one of our friends in a really gruesome way! cool right?" and when he expected praise for it i wanted to strangle him, even more when he was wondering why every one was so mad at him my only complaint about infinity train season 3 was that Simon wasn't killed the same way tuba was "wheeled" for karma he didn't deserve that mercy.
All I felt was fear, man.
Wow, does Simon remind me of zamasu from dragon ball super. I mean, they are both sociopathic freaks who see nothing wrong with their actions and never come to the conclusion that they might be wrong about anything. And worst of all, they see nothing wrong with killing people that they don’t see as real people or equals in any way.
Amelia says that she failed again and again, I wonder how so, like what was stopping her from totally succeeding?
She mentioned something about her hankerchief, it had turtles in it, it probably did something to the code she used and she couldn't undone it.
0:40 she sounds like gordon ramsey👁👄👁
I think in book 4, all the episodes would be mainly amelia going to all the cars shes created when she was the conductor
Actually wanted Amelia to put him down
Yeah. It would've been fun to see Amelia kick his ass.
You have to Wonder Why the Train came to Simon... And why he so Aggressively wants to stay on it?
Probably running away from personal problems like Tulip. I wish we got to see his past like we saw Grace’s
the creator said its because he lost a spelling bee
@@cowboymagpie
Wha... Ah... HUH?!
@@williamlong5428 yeah thats probably why his number was so low when he got on the train
@@cowboymagpie hope that was a joke
Ugh I wish he would just let her talk
Cool Scene!
Amelia calling One One a peanut is the greatest thing ever.
The cat and Amelia have tried to tell Simon the truth about the train and the numbers, but he was too stubborn and too far gone to listen and accept
Wait this is on its third season? I thought it came out in 2018-2019?
Yes this is the third season
I started watching a month ago and i didnt expect to hit at this point and finish it.
Simon: SAY IT AGAIN!
Amelia: ....it again.
I really hope we will get to see more of Amelia someday in the future.
Did Amelia ever have denizen companions like Tulip, Jessie, Grace, or Simon?
Hazel
*Sees hazel turn into a turtle denezin* “um… oh wow! Who would’ve thought?”
no idea
0:03 Did she say “did thing” not “did good thing”? I can't hear it. What does she mean “did thing”?

Am I the only one who sees this confrontation as a parallel between a progressive person and a right-winger?
For some reason, this season felt... topical.
It really sucks that a Season 5 never happened because she was supposed to be the main character
Soooo Amelia was the first Passenger?
Ok, shes not, i just saw book 4
I don't think so, Owen said the train existed before trains were created
Simon is an interesting person
Holy shit that’s Lena Headey!
Simon vs Cersie Lannister
