Not saying Pat's isn't good but if you want a genuine chicago dog, go to Lonnie's Taste of Chicago on the east side and order the Clark St. Dog. They use real Vienna hot dogs, the neon green piccalilli relish, steamed poppy seed rolls, just like in chicago. The owners moved here from chicago and eventually got tired of going to chicago every weekend to get the good chicago food so they opened up a small place here in Louisville making sure to be true to chicago recipes.

I love meatloaf. I really like trying other people's meatloafs. I would give that one a shot. All of this food looks so good. That's what makes our fair so fun!

13 dollars for a tiny meatloaf is a rip off sorry. When you accept it they'll keep doing it. All the prices are bad 9 dollars a slice when it costs like 3 dollars for a large cheese pie to make. Seems like businesses forgot when the cost is lower they get more sales.
@@truth4004 you need to factor in each of those vendors have to pay $5,000 per booth and $1,000 electricity charge and a BS $200 health department charge. Then they have to pay for labor, food cost and other miscellaneous costs. Soooo……are they really ripping you off, or do they have a lot of courage to step out on faith that the weather will hold out in order tor them to make their money back or Lord willing, make a profit?
We already no fair and movie food is expensive

16 bucks for donut burger n 16 for porkchop on a stick. They were good but prices ridiculous and people were buying them like hotcakes!! We left there n ate at Aspen Creek Grill! Delicious!

That's good old fashioned price gouging, $4 for some water that would cost 15 cents at Kroger, $12 for a chili dog I guarantee was less then $2 in product... At those prices my 6 year old niece would probably go through $80 herself.

As an Illinois native, I must say that hot dog looked yummy. However, they're served on a poppy seed bun. I know trying to ship them in may be pricey and I'm not sure if they have them in the footlong size, but it still gets a 👍🏾from me.
