they grow stupidly fast. hybrids such as tiger/rtc cross usually messes up their hormones, which leads them to grow fast and big.

looks like some of the fish are getting little to no food cause the bigger ones are taking all of it. that platinum gar didn't look like he got anything. I saw in an aquarium feeding video , they used a large pole to selectively feed their fish so everyone got food.
