Imagine trying to remember and perfect all these combos and to choose one of many. Then nailing it.

Huh? This is absolutely insane, flawless execution and skills! Amazing combo, but man, weren't you thinking of trying the HD version on PS3? This is the only version that doesn't stop the score counter after reaching 100k points, plus you can collect Green Gems for 12,000 or 15,000 of combo value. Also there exists an emulator called RPCS3 for PC that runs PS3 games, it may run Rayman 3 HD too. Incredible performance once again!

      Thank you! :-)
Looking into R3HD is something a couple of scoring people, myself included, thought about doing at some point. However, there are multiple reasons why we ultimately decided against it:
1.) Playing for a good score is unbearable. Sure, being limited to 100k points is annoying, but in some levels, it also means being able to still get the maximum score after making small mistakes and/or playing easier combos. You wouldn't have that leeway in R3HD, and acquiring good scores would require you to play combos which are so difficult/random that they are being avoided in the original R3.
2.) The levels which would benefit from having the score barrier removed don't really add to the scoring experience. Nowadays, most of the scoring people (once again, myself included) are more interested in theorycrafting combos and pushing the game to its *theoretical* limits than being interested in the practical limits and a massive total. There's a few instances where no limitations on Green Gems might be interesting, but it's a negligably small amount compared to the amount of combos which wouldn't change in any meaningful way. On top of that, out of the parts where you can't score in the original R3 because of the barrier (e.g. Clearleaf Forest parts 4, 5 and 6), not a single one of them has particularly interesting combos.
3.) Summit Beyond the Clouds part 3, which ruins R3HD for multiple reasons. There are ways to get an infinite amount of Kickflips, and you can probably see how that would be an issue with the points barrier removed. Not only does it make any other means of scoring in the Sumit meaningless, R3HD also cannot be competitive because of it. The one with the highest total score will simply be the player who was willing to spend more time doing kickflips with the snowboard. Most of us scorers may not be as interested in competing for scores as we used to be, but if we do compete, we'd want it to be on the basis of skill and creativity, not something as silly as an infinite loop. Could we come to a gentlemen's agreement to not use such tricks within our small group? Sure. But we can't very well force _everyone_ to abide by our arbitrary rules.
Tl;dr: R3 is easier, the games are not different enough from each other to warrant playing R3HD over R3, and findings in R3 seem a lot more meaningful in the original.

very misleading title, this is obviously the "Ultimate Matuvu-Combo"

There's not enough R-rated turtle action going on in the background to warrant the use of "ultimate".
