I am tickled with this because of the fact. We've had African actors hired to play roles that an African American actor could have done. So Wesley, imitating a Nigerian, and I am around Nigerians, he's making some points he is hilarious and I love him!

Those times in segregation, in reality, we were growing wealthy and becoming very strong as a community then than now. The irony is the doctor Will Smith was playing has a confused sounding, non-typical Nigerian accent so WS was quite accurate for who he was representing.. But we were all outraged because it didn't sound like a typical Nigerian.. lol
This is the closest to a Nigerian accent on an American actor that I have heard.

Mr. Snipes nor any black actor or actress need the approval of White Hollywood, Black-Americans skills are self-evident as is our long histories of Black achievements and contributions to this country's development. No other race has given as much to this country as Black men and women. Music in particular, no other race has created heart felt films and music as Black-Americans. A conversation I had sometime ago with a Mexican born friend, I asked him, "Why isn't their any Mexican civil rights leaders in Mexico?" He could not answer the question. If you Google "Mexico Civil Rights Leaders," not one comes up that lives in Mexico. The ones that do exist, all live in Texas, or other border states, and not actually in the country of Mexico. I'm using this as an example. Black-Americans are the true contributors to this country's development. Therefore, I say, no one race who didn't contribute to the development of this country should feel entitled when they flee from problems rather than stand up in their country and fight, die or whatever it takes to live in equity as human beings rather then flee the oppression as the Mexican people do daily. Stay and fight for a good standard of life within Mexico opposed to fleeing from troubles. Black-Americans didn't flee, but we stood up and fought against evil -- The Mexican people should learn to stand up in their country as Black-Americans have done in the USA, and die if necessary! Finally, I say to ALL Mexican people, Unify yourselves in your country and show respect for the so called "African-Americans that did stand up and fight for rights.

Aw what could have been?! Wesley Snipes attempted to make a Black Panther movie in 92'. He took it to Columbia Pictures and they cast it into production hell. Then 6 years later they gave him Blade. I myself believe it was cast into production hell because of positive imagery that was contrary to gangsta rap and hood movies they forced down our throats. Snipes's version would have been based on the original Stan Lee comics. What we got was an amalgamation of the comic runs of Stan Lee, Chris Priest, Reginald Hudland and Ta- nehisi Coates. Mostly of what Priest, Hudland and Coates did.
