I’m almost 78 and my word for this year is “enough”! I am unable to do some of the things that I’ve always done….just don’t have the energy! So whatever I am able to accomplish will have to be “enough”. Hugs from a friend from Pennsylvania ❤
I’m turning 60 this year and haven’t taken care of my health the way I should have. I finally realized why Mom wasn’t interested in putting up the tree once she got older. I carried up the multiple Christmas tubs and ornament boxes and am thinking next year I really need to cut down because those steps aren’t as easy as they used to be.
Ladies I’@@ be 48 and I do so much now, from getting the grandkids whom are 5-7 up for school and taking them to house choirs, errands for family, cook, clean, yard work and inside jobs like painting. UA-cam is my outlet. I’m afraid of getting older because it’s just going to get harder on my body. I don’t have a word just yet but enough sounds like a good one. I’m spending a lot more time with my mother so quality is another one I may use. I lost my job in April, it closed and I was there for 16 yrs since it has closed I’m able to spend more time with my mother. She said she finally has her daughter back . So this year is about spending quality time with her 😊🥰. Best wishes ladies and happy Saturday! Im from Pennsylvania as well! Enjoy the snow lol .

I really relate, Im 53 and have the same. I can’t do anywhere near what I once could due to alot of back problems!! I have to accept that I am Enoug and definitely give myself Grace!!
My husband and I have been married for 47 years. We have had 10 dogs. Two of which were my best friend. A toy poodle named Mindy. She lived to be 16. A miniature border collie named Eva. I rescued her. She passed when she was 13.
One thing we all have in common here is sending a great big congratulations on 100K. Yay, so happy for you.
My resolution for 2024 is... Expect nothing, accept anything ❤
WOTY= INDEPENDENCE ❤ I'm walking towards a life of peace, traveling, & enhanced relationships with my 2 boys. A neglectful/abusive 15 yr marriage to a covert narc will be another time in history, never to be visited again! Here's to 2024 🎉

My word is ruthless. I’m really going to be ruthless in decluttering.
Word for the year is STABILITY. Lost my husband of 23 years in November. My son and I are getting through. We a cat as well. Orange and white tabby. She brings a lot of joy. I have a Dyson but find it hard to clean. Looking into the Shark.
My Nemo was my Soul Cat... and I'm a dog person.... Pets make it feel like home I reckon. We are amidst a rental crisis here in Australia and have to move - my biggest fear is that we will need to rehome our pets... iI'll face that when it happens though... trying not to stress about it. My word for this year is 'Consistency.' I often struggle to meet goals because instead of focusing on the daily steps it takes to achieve them, I only focus on the big goal. So when I don't achieve it fast enough, I get discouraged and just quit. This year I want to be CONSISTENT in the daily steps! Take it one day at a time - did you eat better today than yesterday? Did you read your Bible today? Were you more patient today? Eventually I'll meet my goals if I just stay consistent!
Making your bed first thing does help your mood and i can't sleep in a bed that has not been made

We just got a kitten that ended up coming into our life unexpectedly and she was ment to be and then a week later we unexpectedly got a puppy ❤ all rescues and all ment to be with us and our two bunnies lol

Hello Lynn! My word of the year is "health", taken over from last year, and additionally to that " recovery". I suffered from some reoccurring health issues, I am a lit better but I have a ways to go. Still, I also need to recover physically and mentally from this and it will be a process. I also don't set a word for the tear that I have to stick to for the year, but it can take longer, or evolve into the next thing as the year goes on. I feel this approach takes the pressure off of something like health, that can't be rushed. Thank you for your motivation, and greetings from Luxembourg 🇱🇺

I know this sounds crazy but I have 2 Kirby 's I keep one with the head on and one with the hose. My first Kirby I bought in 1976. My second Kirby was my mother's. I have sucked up a ton of leggos,penny's and numerous other small objects. They are both still running. I have taken them in once or twice over the 47 years and they are both going strong. My friends and family have bought tons of cleaners over the years and spent probably 3X' what I have spent.
When all of our current pets go over the rainbow bridge, we are planning to get an orange Maine Coon Cat.
Re vacuums, I love my Sharks! My big one broke (I thought, but I hadn’t cleaned any filters in a very long time so it kept overheating because of no air flow 😳), we went and bought a Tinexonstick vacuum- it was not what I liked at all, so I gave to someone in need and went out and bought a Shark Stick Vacuum and LOVE IT- I use it for a quick, daily vacuum but, now that I “fixed my Shark Pet vacuum, I use the “big one” for my weekly deep clean of the house. We lost our Elle last winter and have not thought of bringing home a new cat until recently but we are waiting for our total home remodel to finish (hopefully by September) before bring a new kitten into the home and we have been looking at a Maine Coon cat as a homage to the state I was born and raised in (been in CO for 29 years but was a career military spouse for 12 years also) or a shelter kitten, just haven’t made up our minds yet. I have to make my bed every morning after my husband gets up, I too, do not like getting into a messy bed at night. Here’s a phrase many have heard “how do you eat an elephant?” “One bite at a time”, and that’s how you clean and declutter, one bite at a time.

My word for the year is DISCIPLINE. Focusing on my health/fitness, finances and income streams. Last year I eliminated what didn't serve me and made me unhealthy.

The more I see your house, the more I like it so much more than your other house. It’s warmer, the property is awesome. I have 2 cats. Rag dolls. One of them is definitely my soul cat.
My news Years resolution is to get to reading the Bible and, growing more . Another New years resolution is to get rid of toxic people in my life. Unfortunately that means my sister.

Yep, gloves with the Clorox wipes…and please wipe off the table with a damp clean towel also…those chemicals can irritate the baby’s skin where it touches the table… set off eczema on our daughters skin…at school in the 3 rd grade. I’m the one who figured it out…she would go in each morning and wipe off her desk with a clean damp paper towel….problem fixed!!
I’m in California and I’ve never heard of ‘ghost ants’ but the closed captions made it say ‘ghost dance’

My new year resolution is two things, firstly my word is no, I say yes to almost anything that I’m asked to do, sometimes to my detriment. The other thing is I’m going to try and be kinder to myself and about myself. I have never felt that I deserve good things to happen to me and at the age of 64 I think it’s time to stop being a people pleaser. Sending love and positive thoughts to you and your family.❤
We are trying to get the toxic chemicals out of our home as well! We started with Really good Microfiber years ago, and loved that on most things we only need water and the cloths. Since then , we have made other changes! We have tried lots of brands of the cloths but Norwex are our favorites. I dont sell them but if you know someone who does… Maybe consider looking into the Envrio cloths and window cloths. My husband uses a mist spray water bottle and the window cloths ( thats it) Gets the doggie slobbers off the windoes like a champ! Streak free !The cloths have a tag that we hang on a command hook on the inside of our cabinet and linen closet. They dry and are ready for the next time because the silver in the fibers self purify the cloth. I think I’m explaining that correctly. My other favorite is the mesh dish cloth!! It doesn’t get stinky or hold bacteria!

POSITIVE. 2023 broke me. I had to painfully watch my 71 year old dad fight cancer and it took him in November. Among multiple other life changing things happened. So positive is my word for 2024 cause 2023 was so negative!! Love your videos you give me so much motivation.💜🩵💜
Lynn, thank you for sharing your life with us, I love your video's so much. I am not one to ever make resolutions; however, this year (I've gone over the details in a previous post), my husband and I left our big beautiful home and moved across the state. Our new house sits on almost 4 acres, is much smaller, and in a town full of strangers. So, with that said, and keeping in mind that I am extremely shy, my resolution for this year is to...oh my gosh, I can't believe I'm actually saying this...TO MAKE FRIENDS, eesh, talk about outside of my comfort zone, but I am gonna do it, or at least I'm going to try.

My word is "gratitude " and I started a gratitude journal...really just want to count all of my blessings! But intentional" is a great one! I need to be more intentional on my goals too this year growing more spiritually with my faith, physically with focusing on my health, financially of course and in all of the ways...so that's an amazing word for the year as well! ❤

If you watch a UA-cam video on trouble shooting Dyson problems hopefully you will find a video to fix your problem yourself. Sometimes it’s that your electrical connections just need cleaned. That’s what happened my Dyson when my attachments stopped working xx

Yes, Ghost ants are hard to get rid of…the professional pest control had to get ours gone!
I had a soul dog. I rescued that sweet Chihuahua at 6 years old from as he was being walked to be euthanized. I gor him a few months after losinf my first dog to lymphoma and just as I was diagnosed with anxiety and fibromyalgia. He was the best cuddle buddy and friend i coukd have asked for during those times. I had to say goodbye to uim this past June at the age of 16. I miss him dearly. 😢
Love all my shark vacuums, easy to clean and lightweight. Great suction. I was a Dyson girl but like you mine continued to have issues and they were harder to clean. Shark for me.

Hi Lynn and everyone watching, I had to pause to find out what ghost ants were😳, we don’t have them in the Uk but normal black ants are a pain as well. Luckily so far in this home it’s been ok except last year I left the air vent home in the top of the window and flying ants swarmed.
In the thousands and my lounge had lots I mean lots of them in , so many Lisa had to vacuum them up, whilst I hid in the bedroom.
Emma is growing so much seeing her with her doll just makes my heart melt .

Happy Saturday! Im just about the organise my pantry as its a mess! So kind of you to help out your niece ❤ btw I’ve got a old Dyson v6 that I’ve had for years and it keeps going lol i run it till its flat then charge it, they say it helps the battery to last longer. Ive had it fixed before as the connector pieces stopped working , so yeh, hopefully will get a new stick vacuum soon.

Jewels is so pretty we have one cat he’s my granddaughters cat he’s a menace lol but lovable I love all animals too.

I’m sorry what are ghosts ants? I’m from Pittsburgh and I have never heard of them before. I lived in Texas for a few years when I was younger and never heard of them there but I was so young so maybe that’s it.

I LOATH people that try to kidnap street cats. We have a facility cat at our memory care facility and she's an indoor/ outdoor cat and people will try to steal her. She wears a collar, she has a home, she is LOVED by our old peoples. She is LOVED and they want her inside at night. They adore her and she adores them. She goes outside to either hunt or play or follow them when they take walks, or when they get back from either school or doctor/ family visits. She loves these people. There have been multiple women who have tried to kidnap her to 'take her home' and it's absolutely sick. You do not know the back ground of the cat. Cats are NOT inside animals. Cats LOVE being outside. Most outside cats have loving caring homes that understand cats should not be stored in a human box 24/7.
Well if it has a collar then nobody should be “kidnapping” it. But if it’s just wandering the streets without a collar then it’s fair game. If someone wants to rescue a cat and give it a good home then I don’t see a problem. I’ve had cats my whole life and I would never let them wander the streets freely, they may or may not come back alive. There is so many predators out there, if you love the cat then you should keep it inside where it’s safe.
My kids got me a Dyson stick vacuum for Christmas and I hate it. So disappointed in the quality of this product!
I love animals but just can’t relate with cats. I’m more of a dog person. At this time of my life I don’t have any pets. We have had several and after loosing the last 3 I done with pets.
