Excellent Jimmy. I had the long wheelbase CCKW353 a long time ago and they are great trucks. Short wheelbase trucks were more often used to tow things especially Artillery (105mm) and ammunition trailers like the M10 as well as engineering trailers and things like that. It's an iconic vehicle of the period. The personal connection is even better. A few years ago I was reunited at an event with the MB that I restored and it was great to see it still out there
wow , what an amazing truck with an amazing story. my great grandfather served in WW2 , told me many long storys about the GMC and its "luxury" ride
