They should be in rocks, not sand, lots of people think that because they live in a deserts they need sand, in the wild they live in a VERY harsh rocky places, learn about how they live in the wild and you will understand everything about them better......
@@wisdomandknowledgeismostim3883 I know right but these guys do like to dig so I provide a pretty rocky place with just a shallow layer of substrate about 3 inches deep and it is loose coconut fibres

J'en possède un specimen âgé de 17 ans, un Nigriventris. Il suffit d'un terra de 120*60*60 minimum, une lampe chauffante et un tube pour les UVB. Très simple à nourrir, salade, endive, pissenlit, mâche, et très occasionnellement, des fruits et des graines.
This specific sub species come in two colors, yellow and orange, not indicative of gender. There are many other sub species of Uros that come in a variety of colors and sizes.

Their diet is mostly seeds in the wild. I guarantee the owner feeds them leafy greens often as well.
