If someone makes a mech and the creators say its for "exploration", I'm gonna sign up immediately, because that means that thing will be more armed than your average redshirt army. On a side note, I noticed a couple parallels between Stargazer and the TD Lions, being exploration mecha who happen to be ridiculously powerful, and are being piloted by totally hot babes.
And considering the fact that OG-verse Earth has been targeted by something like 7 separate alien invasions by this point, I think it's understandable to err on the side of caution (overkill) if you're venturing outside the solar system.
There's a reason for that one : Project TD (Terrestrial Dream) is first and foremost a deep space exploration project. These suits aren't combat gear, while everyone else has federation-issued suits (with some custom ones here and there).
it actually makes sense, i mean, if you´re going to explore the unknown reaches of space not knowing what you might find, would you rather go unarmed or with enough fire power to face whatever might treathen you, i mean, you might as well find nothing or you might find a race of giants with a thirst for blood and hunger for battle and enough weapons to wipe out the human kind(wow i uncounciouslly made a macross reference)
space exploration: what? no these aren't massive beam cannons, these are to break up asteroids and collect samples. Missles? no no, these are digging tools to get samples below the surface.
Gave Ibis the following (no EX-Hard): Ace'd, B-Save, Continuous Action, Attack Again, pumped up her Counter to L9, pumped skill to 270, partnered her up with Masaki who also has Attack Again to compensate for lack of ALL attacks. Violent Assault with Continuous Attack Twin Commands = RAPE EVERYTHING ESPECIALLY ON EX-HARD.
No. You can out run your own missiles all the time in Armored Core, they still serve their purpose. Just make sure that if they enemy can too, that they aren't looking at you when you fire them.
Well, Ibis was not a cause of Filio's death in Alpha timeline. Filio died of illness in Alpha timeline (before Alpha2) just like in OG. Ibis suffered near-fatal injuries from GraMXs accidents but Filio was never injured or killed. Ibis, who was traumatized after the accidents, left Filio and DC. He tried to stop her, but she did not listen to him. Ibis did not know that he died of illness afterward until she learned about it from Sleigh in Scenario 13 because Tsugumi kept it a secret.
well everyone complain about being a exploration robot , u know that wild space is with huge uncertainties right? like in the woods u dont know what happen , its common doing an exploration with heavy arms or tools
Somebody retrain Ibis and Sleigh as magical girls! Only males can pilot giant mecha, as shown in Gundam Wing, when the five main robos were piloted by guys! How do they pull of the last attack if they don't have the balls to do so?
