    You skipped Alice Sara Ott & Denis Matsuev but this is the best reason to come back with more. Such compilations are showing us how huge is our brain database, how much space we have in our hearts for all great musicians and ...wish them perform other hundred years like this because music makes life worth living

      Yeah, the shamless self-promoter Barenboim is again in "the first line". Sad... ? Where is the late Sviatoslav Richter? Nowhere... after the Barenboim... nightmare, really.

    No other pianist touched me more than Yuja...and this in 25 unforgettable concerts and recitals....but the other pianists here are fantastic, too!

    Marc André Hamelin not being on this list is a crime against humanity

    I think Khatia Buniatishvili is the best pianist. Because he lives in every note, he feels the emotions that the composer felt while playing the piece, and he can also make the audience feel it.

    Alexander Malofeev, I watched that. His concert was stunning to say the least. (Netherlands) Thank you.🌷

      I've seen him live twice, playing Rach 2 and Tchaikovsky's piano concerto. Both evenings were unbelievably amazing... I had never felt what I felt during the ending of his Rach 2, it was so energetic yet beautiful. And the encores...

    I missed Alfred Brendel in this video. That is unfortunate because he was the best.

    And where are Pogorelich, Freire, Pletnev? Are they less legendary than Lang Lang? ☺️

  • @andrecastro2609

    Ok, we cant have everyone in one video... but Radu Lupu, Nelson Freire, Pollini, Zimmerman, Pogorelich and Alfred Brendel... It must've been for copyright reasons, right?

  • @8beef4u
    @8beef4u Рік тому

    Obviously you can't put everyone in there, but I would add Zimmerman, Pogorelic, Hamelin, and Kate Liu.

    A really powerfull video, tho it's unfair to say "ALL" the legends, :P. Only some of them are in this video and i feel sad for others. Wonderfull job anyways!

    Again, the Sviatoslav Richter is squeezed between "all the rest". Actually, this "list" must start with RACHMANINOFF, Richter, Martha Argerich (the last alive virtuoso from the great titans of the keyboard) ... AND THE REST. Barenboim you must exchange for Grigory Sokolov really easy, and without any "pain" . From the new generation, Daniil Trifonov and Malofeev are, without doubt, the first line. The Chinese technicians? Yes, they all are great virtuoso, but this is, really, not enough. Also, the omission of Sofronitsky, Gillels and Nelson Freire is unforgivable.
