Nordschleife is one of those tracks you gotta do a ton of laps to actually learn it.. insanely long track
Nah you learn it after like 5 laps you just remember it in small sections at a time
also for actual racing you need to have experience because this track is so narrow that overtaking is extremely dangerous and only possible in various spots.

I’m saying that it’s not as hard to remember or drive ( in a sim ) as people make it out to be. I mainly sim drift but everytime I go on nordschleife it’s pretty easy to remember after one lap for me and get in the groove , by no means am I talking about setting records .
it got such a good flow that its not hard to learn not many if any actually tricky turns its just rather narrow and very long

when you spin or go off track don't rush to get back to the line unless you have a sufficient gap behind and try to keep an eye on people diving on the inside, you seem to not notice and turn in on people carrying a lot more speed than you.
if you keep an eye on your relative when re-joining you can make sure you wont pull out on anyone

just a little driver tip the crash at 9:20 is probably bc you werent on throttle & were braking instead you wouldve been better trying to power out of it, when the car starts to slide (and even when not sliding sometimes) dumping the throttle can cause something called lift-off oversteer, essentially lifting off the gas causes an abrupt change in grip from the weight transfer back to front, both braking and lifting sends weight towards the front of the car making the rear loose/light and want to slide especially when theres steering angle being applied, accelerating out (while countersteering if applicable) will keep the weight/grip closer to even front to back so the back doesnt lose grip and loop like it did, and the grass is gonna make it even worse causing you slide even more uncontrollably DO NOT BRAKE IN THE GRASS POWER OUT ALWAYS, WHEN IN DOUBT FLAT OUT if youre starting to slide typically your best bet is to try to power your way out of it, hopefully this helps if you see it

You don’t need expensive gear, Dj yee uses the Logitech wheel with load cell pedals and is 7 thousand Irating. A moza r9 or 12 with the KS or SIMAGIC gt neo with srp pedals is like the ideal rig.
For sure its all you need but god he woupd enjoy it so much more! Im running a simagic ultimate heck he doesnt need a 5k dollar rig but he would love it. Even if he would just spend 2k get a nice rig, good wheelbase wheel and pedals and enjoy. @ArturoDrives
@@ArturoDrives Big true. Pedals are the biggest thing. Better wheel/DD only improves consistency, not one lap speed. From my experience anyway.

He’s actually running like 2 seconds off of world record in the Mazda. I’ve only ever test driven the Mazda at Laguna in Iracing, never done my learning process or watched lap guides so the fact that Felix is already running faster than me in the Mazda is incredible, I rarely ever drive the Mazda in Iracing mostly f1600 and the f4 series. I kind of want to see if I can beat his time bc I’ve been simracing for about a year now so if he beats me in a couple of weeks that’s embarrassing 😂
He don't drive the Mazda MX5 Cup.. He drive the GR86 Toyota.. That's completely different car so the lap record is not the same ahah

(i had the privilege to grow up in a town with a racing track and active racing scene so i actually even drove beside actual racers) Therefore i can really say youd did awesome id love to see you pursuit this a bit if you really enjoy it! its a great hobby if you got money to spend i mean like actual racing tho well idk perhaps when your done streaming Have a look at crosscarts or rally cross shit like that is so fun and rewarding and not that hard to get into. Nurburgring is not for noobs the track is tight asf and takes a while to learn since it's soo long.
Also he was at fault for basically every crash he was in, rejoining onto the racing line while cars are coming is a Huge No No, stuff like that can get people killed in real life especially if they hit the drivers side at speed.

Drivers like xqc is the reason why I stopped playing iracing. I know he has money to throw but some people dont, and if I play the game I wanna enjoy it and be competitive, you cant be competitive with this types of players, and you cant even get out of rookies due to players like this.
Yes you can you just have to not race them. It is easier said than done however. You will sometimes be on the razors edge ensuring they dont fuck you but it is doable. If you don't qualify 1st in rookie you may as well let the field pass you. Enought people always wreck your irating and safety rating will go up. How do I know? I have done it time and time again.
it only took me 4 races to get out of rookies. just drive safe not fast once youre in d class you can learn whatever series you want to drive
it's easy to get out of rookies, just stop trying to win. You can get .15 safety for each race if you just stay away from people, even if you finish last. Five races is all it takes doing this to get out of rookies.
Just look at the level of pace and (in)consistency he won that final race with. If you practice a track for an hour and do a remotely decent quali lap, you can just quali first and disappear, winning the race with 0x. This is so incredibly easy to do in rookies if you have a tiny bit of experience in any (other) sim, and after this you will encounter much less of these noobs with no etiquette.

You don't understand car control, racing, or how to re-join after an incident. Every single incident you had, you caused by being ignorant and re-joining in the middle of the racing line at almost a standstill. You also need to learn throttle and braking modulation. Haven't watched you play any games in a long time but you haven't changed. Nothing is ever your fault, right?

@@lostmind24 The wheel its self isn’t what ruins the Logitech wheel, it’s the pedals, mainly the brake pedal, it’s impossible to play with a G29 set up on iRacing, they’re not made for simulator games.
