I like the batreps. Great production quality and a wide variety of characters. A little overuse of the phrase "choosing violence". The board is awesome and the terrain looks great too. Keep them coming!!
Thanks! And fair point. Sometimes in the heat of things, I definitely fall back on some comfortable phrases. It is an ever evolving process, for sure, so I appreciate feedback like this.
Background noise is an ongoing issue. Sadly sometimes we do not have the back room to ourselves, and sometimes the industrial AC/heater is running. I am hoping to eventually upgrade my equipment to better isolate the players, and be able to filter out the background noise.
In the final round, did captain marvel pay for binary form once more? since it ends at the start of its next activation it would not allow for 2 extra die in the attack
It has been a bit, but I think I just communicated poorly in this instance. By noting she still has it up, it is usually my short hand (in casual games) that the cost has been paid. In retrospect, for a video, I probably should have been more clear.
What mat is this? I'm looking for my first battle mat and I know matsbymars has been updated but I love the look of this mat. If I do go with matsbymars do you have a recommendation on which one if I go with 1? Thanks.
This one is tableware premarket that my LGS brought in. It works nicely, if a bit cluttered. I do have some mata by mars, but being vinyl, they can be a pain to get to lay flat at times

Why did venom choose spiderwoman as first target last round? Wasn't Wong a better idea? Killing him taking the 2 cubes and then your follow up if possible on hood.
I believe I made a similar comment off camera. He had a plan in his mind, and it did not quite pan out though, it would seem. We have all been there, though. Making as decision in the heat of the moment.
Always a good batrep. Liking the two large terrain items where they actually matter in the game, but I see a bunch, a few buildings, in the R3 deployment, one tucked in a corner even. Why???? Just a waste. Mine as well leave on the shelf. I mentioned you in a podcast I did recently about MCP terrain placement as one of the better to use terrain on the board btw. Don't waste terrain on the board edges pullleeeeeez. I do very much appreciate that you didn't skimp like so many others seem to, so bravo! If you ever do episodes talking about game strategy, character reviews and.....terrain (lol) I'd be thrilled to discuss. Cheers!
I definitely want to branch out the content to talk about other facets of the game, for sure! As for the terrain along the edges on this board, that is partly due to the fact the design is an intersection. So, the buildings are mostly window dressing time around, and cars (And the Quinjet) are taking centre stage. There are some videos coming where terrain is going to be place a bit more centrally, as well, so do not worry about that! And once the airbrush is fixed, finally going to see the Sanctum on the table, as well!
@Aegisbrand Studios I appreciate the total honesty here. Either way your games show some of the best spread leading to more interesting games than most batrep vids I've watched. Been talking to TO's, big and small. Some get it, some have very skewed opinions about terrain. Hit me up if you ever want to do an episode to discuss MCP!
@@mitchcowan1446 I think one of the biggest hurdles is that many people treat the terrain quantity suggestion in the rules as gospel, as though that is the amount , no question. Terrain makes for such an interesting aspect of this game, it is a shame to just see boards littered with small stuff that can be ignored a lot of the time

AMG should revise it, increase the #'S or at least indicate that terrain should not be within R3 of a board edge, so big buildings aren't pushed into corners or wherw they are just window dressing. Agreed on all fronts.

It was a blind box purchase from Walmart. I thought I was getting the ECTO-1, and got the Mystery Machine instead
