- "Feel Like Makin' Love" is a song by English supergroup Bad Company. The power ballad originally appeared on the LP Straight Shooter in April 1975 and was released as a single in August of the same year. It was named the 78th best hard rock song of all time by VH1. Paul Rodgers started to come up with the lyrics at a camp in California while touring the US with Free. He was 19 years old. After several years, Rodgers played it to Bad Company guitarist Mick Ralphs who threw in that big chord in the chorus that marks the shift from country ballad to chest-beating rocker.

Paul Rodgers, the most soulful voice to ever grace my ears and doing so for over fifty years now since I first saw and heard him with Free. I always tried to emulate the spinning mic stand when I sang with a band in the late 60's but never quite had his panache and style...thank you for posting. Very jealous I was not at this gig.

One of the best bands I have seen
I Was in Wildwood N.J. I was 16 years old my sister and me when up on the Boardwalk there was a game where if you put a dart in any part of a star you get the album of your choice !! It was 4 chances for a dollar the very first dart I put dead center of a star the others I missed but my sister said take the album with the dice on it and so I took Straight Shooter only to find out it had this monster hit on it !! After listening to the complete album I also found Shooting Star and other great songs !! This sounds great live !! Great upload !!
