Sir from where to cover Science and technology part? I am from science Background but still facing difficulties

First check previous 2 years question, specifically regarding Science and Tech. This will give you a broad understanding of the area from where to prepare.
I wouldnt recommend any specific book or magazine. But mostly questions are asked from Current Affairs. So, you may refer to "Explained" portion in Indian Express and S&T portion in The Hindu. Also, just google about any specific S&T terminology.

Just google the name of the prose or poetry and add "summary", "critical analysis", etc. You will get various references.
The sparknotes references are very good.
Read directly from them and make your own notes.
No need to read any specific reference books for ALternative Prose and Poetry.
