I believe the band is literally called Nightcore. (as I found this in a playlist called "original nightcore"). There music inspired others to do similar music and their name became a genre

PonyInTheFridge A little more than that. Audio in 480p is maxed @ 128 kbps while it is 192 kbps in 720p up. So always go for HD if possible.
