I'm currently building a synaptic nexus list at 1500pts. Would love to see Ya Boi Swissy, do a deep dive on each detachment. Have watched vanguard and unending swarm videos you made.
Played Swarm in my first GT and took down a Imperial Knight with them, the exocrine giving rerolls of 1 then the CP for crits on 5s and sustained combined with lethal hits from the Tervigon put in some work. Took 3 turns of shooting with as much as I could but did it! haha
You can't to rapid regen vs. grenades. Also not useable vs. vortex of doom, doombolt, or typhus' mortal wounds ability. They're abilities, not attacks.
I'm frustrated with Tyranids in 10e. I started with them at the last 3 months of 9th and they're really the only faction I'm interested in playing. They really need to rewrite some of the codex detachments and datasheets. I'm especially frustrated with shadow in the Warp being so bad.
I have to disagree, I really like shadows in the warp. Admittedly like we said in the show, it’s not as good right now because the best armies have good leadership. But even then I find it still worth at least five points per game. Maybe it’s worth doing a show on shadows?
@@YaBoiSwiSSly I would love more Tyranids content. I usually play casual games and haven't played long. So I'm no professional or even that much of an authority on the subject. Just anecdotally I've never had Shadow work for me in a significant way. I find it bad simply because of how swingy it is and how Tyranids can only do it once per game whereas space Marines get their "Oath of Moment" every round and has more impactful feeling. Either way I love Tyranid content and consume it as voraciously as the hive mind itself.
30:19 The Norns are crazy over costed for just being a way worse Maleceptor. They need to be like 200/225 to even be considered viable and even then they’re a tough sell and a waste of points. They’re trash units

I’ve done the same to Canis Rex. Was a lot of fun.
The look on the opponents face was priceless, same GT had a unit of 20 spinefist Termagants took out a 3 model unit of wolf cavalry, hilarious stuff
