4:15 The Gwishin (those flying enemies) are a Relic of the Omnic War. In case you've omited this part of the game: Lore establishes that around 2050 we had this massive robot workforce called the Omnics, which reveled Terminator style and a war ensued. The war was ended by Reyes and Morrison's generation, who got pulled into this massive international spec-ops squad that stopped the Ominics enough for them to consider co-existance. The Omics now live in an armed peace with mankind but there's a lot of hate on either side and the start of the game is that another war is starting in Russia. Korea got trashed hard by the Omnics during the Omnic War and they unified to fight back. The big machine that defended the Omnic factory in Korea retreated into the sea and 20 years later still raids the Korean Peninsula every few years. The damn thing is so powerful that the Korean Army has failed to kill it either while at sea or when it's raiding the peninsula. To test the defences of the Korean Army, the machine sends the Gwishin every couple weeks to see what Korea is up to in terms of defense and adapt accordingly for the big raid. The Korean Army decided that the best way to beat a machine was with kids that know how to beat machine thinking (aka Gamers) so they recruited D.Va and some other top tier Pro-Gamers and put them on the Mekas.
If you are planning on doing more Overwatch Shorts, I recommend - * Honor and Glory * Rise and Shine * Junkertown: the Plan Tho to be honest, they are all great! Also they recently came out with a new one called Reunion which is worth checking out :)
You both should totally react to rwby. Seasons 1-5 are on UA-cam. Season 6 is on the roosterteeth app. Rooster teeth actually likes it when people react to their shows as long as you follow the guidelines!
