Audi RS4 B8 Modified Standard Exhaust Comparison With Standard Exhaust | Amazing V8 Sounds

- The standard exhaust or factory sport exhaust (this car is fitted with) sound fantastic but are quiet out of the box. This modification costs roughly £500 and modifies the resonator and back box. The difference is unbelievable whilst keeping the noise perfectly quiet when the valve is closed. It makes a huge difference from inside the cabin too, you can hear the V8 rumbling along nicely where the standard exhaust required you to put your foot down to hear anything.
You know we get these sounding how they should 👌.
Great vid showing how incredible they sound 👏
Thanks guys, great job!
This sounds absolutely amazing can you please please tell me what was done exactly I want to do this to my car thank you so much
Hello mate, check my other replies on the other comment asking the same thing 👍
How are you finding it on longer journeys is it boomy / any noticeable bad sounds? Sounds awesome in the vid really hear the v8 👍
With the valve closed its perfectly quiet for longer boring journeys. No complaints whatsoever 👍 you can hear how good it sounds from the cabin in the video and no strange noises.
素晴らしいサウンド!
Monster 👾 🤙👍
Amazing sound😮 any drone with these mods?
Valve operates same as factory, so it's perfectly quiet when you need it to be.
where is this filmed, its so beautiful
Near Wetherby
Have you owned any other performance audis and how does this compare, i had a S3 8v stage 1 felt rapid but only 350 bhp compared to the 450 rs4 but its NA obviously. Just wondered which would be quicker i real life
This is the only Audi I've owned but have owned other similar power cars. The way it delivers power is constant through the entire rev range. You don't get that extra shove of an old school turbo but no real flat spots either. Depends how good the map on the S3 is I reckon.
@@emiracooper ye I had a mk5 R32 I get what you mean on the power delivery. Is it a quick car then can you name anything you've gapped or give a good run , cheers
@@UndisputedChamp834I’ve got a MK5 R32 and a 450bhp B7 RS4. The RS4 is a different animal. I did consider the B8 as they’re the same prices as good B7’s now but I wanted a manual for maximum engagement.
@@JC_46 my dream car the B7, well was once In a day but the age puts me off... V10 RS6 is the ultimate dream but same story ☹️ but god damm I still want one
What did you do to the exhaust a resonator delete? Or back box delete?
Both, opened them up, modified, welded back together. Looks fully stock from underneath.
What you do just gut them completely?
@@cameroncliff9238 Yeah roughly but there's a bit more to it then just gutting. The Mod Stock guys did this for me so not certain on the specifics. Reach out to them if you want something similar done, it's well worth it.
Do they have a website and that? And what was the cost? Cheers
@@cameroncliff9238 yeah they do, you'd be looking at around £500 for a similar mod
Capistro or milltek?
Neither, this is a modified Audi sport exhaust
I thought it’s capristo in first place
This is my old car, are you the owner?
@@danielmartin1591 I was, but not anymore. I had the exhaust work done during my ownership but sadly someone else has the joy of owning it now.
@ it was a great car, I stupidly exchanged it for a Mercedes 250d after a mate kept bashing on about the tech. Didn’t last long in it before I chopped it for an M4
@@danielmartin1591 very different cars those. The RS4 is such a special car with that engine, there will never be anything like it again.
