I can't believe how perfectly this worked. THANK YOU!!!! Quick tip for others who use this method against a solid color background, if the edges of the strands are still not showing all the fine details after the refine edge step, duplicate the masked layer a few times till all of the details show up. Again, Brian, thank you!!!
Most welcome!

This is so super heplful. Where do one get backgrounds where the size fits into the image. Keeps on telling met its too small
Hi Chrizel, I generally just search the background I want on google and then click on the image to visit the main website the image was displayed from.
From the main website, I usually get the high resolution version of the background image.
great.. thanks
Please where can i download that background
Thank you for this video!!!!! OMG! It was so helpful!

Wow, I love this... it has helped me so much.

How to click and drop..
What are the keys u hold
You just click on your mouse or trackpad, the way you normally do when selecting any item or opening an app on your Pc. Don't let go of the image after you click, drag it and drop on to the photoshop workspace
wow... thanks for sharing. bless up
You're welcome man
Amazing helpful video my guy! Thanks 🙏🏼
Most welcome!
Thank you so much.. I really need to use this your awesome way but I don't know I find it so difficult to drop and drag the new background. Could you please tell me more
Another way to do it is to go to the menu at the top of your photoshop window, click on FILE -> PLACE EMBEDDED -> locate the file you want to use as background on your computer, click on it and select place. It'll open up in the document you're working on
@@Brianumoh thanks so much boss. I appreciate your response

after changing the background, the edges are coming out strong white line in edges please help brother 🙏🙏🙏
You'd need to use the "Select and Mask" tool to refine it further, but the easiest way to see how it's done, is to look it up, there's many videos of how to remove the white edge here on UA-cam
Thanks great video will follow you !

Hey bro my photoshop dont have the quick action tab so i cant remove the background automatically, yet its photoshop 2020
I think you should get a later version of photoshop or you may have to do it manually
My photoshop refine edges does not have the color option (yours is red, i don't have that option). I'm using photoshop 2021. Am i doing something wrong?
great !!
super duper helpful ;)
Thanks Brian, also cool Accent!

I couldnt drag another photo directly to the Adobe photoshop ... i succeded in masking the image but couldnt add another background please any help? The pic refused to add to the background layer
If the image you want to use as background is in the same window as the image you want to change the background, then make sure it's below the image you want to change the background in the layers pile.
If it's not in photoshop, then check the menus at the top of the photoshop application, click on FILE -> PLACE EMBEDDED -> Select the image, and then place it under the image you want to change background.
Brian Umoh thanks very much bro it worked like magic 🙏🙌🙌✊

@@Brianumoh Got it, grateful. Straight to the point.
it's Amazing do you mind me asking where did you get this background
Thank you.
I downloaded it from www.wikiart.org
Praise god this used to take me hours
After creating a new layer and ensuring properties in enabled, theres nothing below the layers. I don't see the 'more actions' with the option to remove background. Would you or anyone happen to know why it's not showing, and how I could get it to appear (or) find it elsewhere?
Thanks!

Hello Brian, how do you reduce the light in an image in cc 2020
There are many tools for doing that in Photoshop cc 2020.
One of them is the "brightness and contrast" tool and another is the "Exposure" slider in the Camera Raw plugin.
There are many of them.
Just try those two and let me know if it did the job.
@@Brianumoh Aye man thanks

How do you get your photo you used for your background photo to show up in another tab that is next to the photo of the young lady?
Every photo you open in photoshop shows up in a new tab next to the previous one.
Brian Umoh ok. So how do I open a new photo? I’m not doing something right because it is not allowing me to
@@blessedandbeautiful8365 to open a picture in photoshop; Select the picture, right click on it (using the mouse) and select Open with Adobe Photoshop (the version you have installed will be added as suffix)
Brian Umoh thank you!! I really appreciate your help. 🙏🏽

how do you drag and drop???
Great Question!
It's really easy
Click the "V" key on your keyboard to toggle the "Move Tool", left click and drag (on your mouse) the image to the other window where you want to use the image and then release the mouse button you clicked.
Alternatively,
You could right click (on your mouse) the layer you want to copy (under the layers panel) and then select "duplicate layer", a window will pop up, under the "destination" just select the document (based on file name, which you can see at the top of each open window) you want to duplicate the current layer to.
Go to that document and you'll see the layer you just duplicated there.
@@Brianumoh thank you 😊
