Gucci Guilty Elixir was an absolute love at 1st sniff. That opening is amazing and the dry down is just as nice. Amazing fragrance. Mr.Bisch killed this one 🔥🔥🔥
Justin, I just found your channel about a week ago and it's easily become my favorite fragrance channel. Your delivery just keeps me engaged, like we're having a conversation. And you use actual great descriptive words when describing scents instead of constantly using generic words like "fantastic" "sexy" "mmmmm". Finally, your little edit inserts give me a good chuckle too. Thanks for the great content.
Spot on ! Especially for Althair and the expectation from a bottle and the scent. The scent, dry vanilla with the guaiac woods in the background giving it a light kick. Need to like vanilla to like this scent. I would describe it as a 2 dimensional scent, but effective (for the vanilla lovers).
I feel like the channel's content is closely aligned with my personal fragrance journey atm. Always have a handful of fragrances that intrigue me, but WAY more patient on jumping on any hype trains these days. And now am really digging into the collection i already have until i find fragrances that i truly love wearing. Smart approach on using the sample companies, especially now that the services and fragrance offerings are growing.
My first impression of Althair was that it was fine, nothing special. On skin it evolves a lot and the wearing experience is great! Curious to see what you think after you try on skin
It was fire off the strip and they let me douse myself in it since they were sold out. They gave me a full sample as well, she was supposed to call me when it got in, but I kept checking. I only wish we had 4 seasons here because I'm wearing it whenever I wanna smell it.
@@romeosly4341You’re right about that. PDM is a very overrated house, smelled everything they have and nothing is great to my nose. Oajan is OK but it doesn’t project off my skin. Percival is basically a clone of AF Fierce, the rest are forgettable.
I'm very new to colognes again and smelling all the hyped fragrances I've seen where some of these scents have mass appeal. Gucci Guilty Elixer stood out as something very different and to me an amazing scent. The size and cost was surprising compared to others but it was a must have.
I'm enjoying the new Gucci Guilty Elixir. It has a Reflection Man vibe to it with the white florals, but definitely has more going on. Denser. I have a small decant of Reflection 45, I think I will do a side by side comparison tonight
The vanilla & orange blossom combo made Althair seriously interesting to me because I had not smelled anything like it before. Gucci Guilty elixir had a Reflection Man inspired vibe to me but that might just be me.
Sampling is always the way to go...my fragrances collection is 80% designers..recently I have been Sampling niche scents....let's just say I am loving the dark side 😂😂😂
The Creed is way out of my price range. There’s no fragrance worth that money. I sampled the Gucci Elixir and I thought it was just okay. Again it retails for more money than it’s worth for the size of the bottle you get. May I’m being picky, but I try find fragrances that impress and move other than just trying to acquire more.
I’ve spent a lot of money buying samples, but then again, I guess I’ve saved a lot of money by avoiding blind buys on hyped up niche fragrances. Always important to fully wear the fragrance though; I’ve revisited a few samples which I didn’t like initially only to discover they were much better when I gave them a real try.
Really accurate description of Althaïr. I’ve tried it on skin and the vanilla comes through really quick into the dry down. Still I can’t convince myself to buy a full bottle.
Wearing Absolu Aventus today. Love it and my wife does too! I have gotten multiple compliments today. Aventus is a fragrance that has always been meh to me, and I sold Dior Savage Elixir, but Absolu Aventus is fantastic!
I too thought the Althair bottle matched the scent. I suspect getting it on skin, you'll get less white florals up front. I think one more you need to try, that absolutely no one's talking about, is Wideon Luban. It's a strawberry frankincense blend...straight up intoxicating. Great vid.
I love absolou aventus . Now to be fair , I was never a fan of the original Aventus and kind of passed on buying it when it came out in 2010 and in the years to follow . So this is more or less my first introduction to Aventus . I did own Aventus cologne a few years ago, which I absolutely loved . But unfortunately, I recently found out that they reformulated Aventus cologne when they switched to the metal cap.
A new vid from Justin, no way i am not sticking around til the end ! And with this title, well you got my attention Justin😊. Your channel and genuine style and non-biased opinion is what set you above the others…well above. You’re like the chord extension, when the others are still playing the root. You have that special sound that sets apart. Just love your channel!
I am with you on the Creed Aventus Absolu I sprayed it on my skin and a short time later, I could hardly smell it. At this price point, I would hope that it would project a little better. Then again it could be one of those scents that seems like they are not projecting, but others can pick up on it. Glad I just got a decant first. The Althair is nice, but to me it does not have that uniqueness that sets it apart from some similia fragrances. Going to give Hacivat X a try being that Hacivat is one that I wear a lot.
Great first impressions video and I enjoyed it and can you do full reviews when you test them out and i hope you feel better soon GOD BLESS 🙏 have a blessed day
Thank you for gracing us with a good ole fashioned first impressions video. I know it’s “basic” but it’s nice to hear from creators with a bit more substance. And the Ani X cameo had me rolling 😆
I got my Aventus Absolu, and after reading about Aventus Absolu smelling like Dior Sauvage Elixir, I got it tested it against both on my skin. Aventus Absolu smells like something Sauvage Elixir has, and that is cinnamon. It also shares many notes with the OG Aventus so it kind of smells like it. This is not a fresh fragrance like the OG, but safe for spring nights. It lasts a lot but your brain cuts it at some point, I went out with friends and had many sprays of this, got to the restaurant and after a while a girl hugh me and complimented the smell. After around 4+ hours that I thought it was gone or skin at most, I went outside and another girl told me something similar. Went home and a girl I was with complimented my scent in the car. I could have swear it was almost at skin level, or so I thought.
I have tried Altair 2 times now both times it was after I have smelled dozens of fragrances before it so my nose might have been dead each time but I really didn't smell much off a test strip. You will have to give us an update on these to see if your nose was just not at 100% to get the full profile of the frags tested.
Althair is definitely the first PDM that I wasn’t moved by I would never waste my money on it. Gucci my wife love it on me and it last really long. Jpg is super power and definitely a compliment magnet. Now absolu i purchased it only because its unlimited but on my skin It got close after few hours and I was disappointed till I smelled it on my shirt a week later. So maybe it’s my nose or skin? Because it’s been a week a few days and I can still detect the scent on the shirt I wore.
I have had the luxury to try all of them except the new haciwat X unfortunately! - I actually enjoy the new aventus, but not enough to justify it as a direct buy. But maybe I am biased since I own the original and believe that is enough. - le male elixir - I actually agree with your take, I own it, have tried it several times, and it seems that people around me also enjoys it. 🎉 but is it memorable…. I wonder.. I would probably stick with ultra male or the le parfum, but for sure a worthy buy for the price! And I actually like that it is the most comparable of the ones I mentioned to the original. Like a modernized created one. - the Gucci elixir I am actually the most impressive of. I am working in the beauty industry and have it in the office, and I feel like I find myself taking some test sprays way more often than I should! It is like a strange, powdery floral vanilla in a good way. I could really relate to your expression of it as it summarize my view on it! But I would for sure say in a good way! Maybe will buy one of my own! Always enjoy your videos! Keep it up!
I had to buy Absolu Aventus --especially when they called it a limited edition batch. Aventus is what truly got me into fragrances, so it was a must purchase (at discounters).
I have a sample of the Gucci elixir and it’s a weird one for me. Came across medicinal at first ? It was weird for a while but then just turned out really beautiful
Tried absolu Aventis on skin and really enjoyed the scent but like you said it sits really close to the skin! Gucci guilty Elixir is really nice, instantly reminded me of Amouage Reflection man which I adore so I've ordered a bottle!
Not sure how Guilty Elixir reminded you of Reflection Man. They are very different. But I guess its very personal. For me Montblanc Individuel is the one who come closest to that expensive fabric softener type smell and if you like Reflection you most likely will like Dunhill Icon as well.
@@ManicMindTrick I find similarities between Gucci guilty Elixir, Amouage reflection and 45. I think they're in the same family but have their own personality, Elixir for me is more sweet and powdery than reflection but I get great use out of it
Justin, first of all a little premise: I enjoy your content very much! Just a little thing, It's been annaying to me, in the last months: everyone saying Aventus Absolu is smelling like Dior Elixir, imho, is just taking other people's opinion and following a trend. I'm not an expert, neither a Creed fanboy: this is just an opinion, no means to offend. Owning both of the fragrances I canno't find similarities. I regret purchasing Dior elixir, and my GF absolutely hate it, and I'm glad to own Aventus Absolu, to me it's special and unique (and my Gf loves it). There's something wrong with this comparison and I'm here only to tell that I'm absolutely sure that If there was not such a wide spread rumor, about this similarity, nobody could have put this two fragrances to confront. Peace, and keep on with your absolutely good work
Not following a trend, I went in skeptical of that assessment but I can corroborate it for the initial stages of the scent. But if you don’t detect that, that doesn’t make anyone right or wrong. Thanks for watching. 👌🏾
Lemale elixir is basically one million elixir. I recently bought sauvage elixir and returned it. The dry down smells exactly like armaf club de nuit intense
Hachivat is one I would have rather sampled before grabbing a bottle, I rarely reach for it and don't particularly too much enjoy the smell either. To me it's just ok.
I've tested the JPG a month ago, and while good, it's too syrupy for my taste. If I want to wear a resinous vanilla-benzoin combo, my Rochas Moustache EDP does the trick, and as a honey-tobacco designer, Pure Havane is unbeatable as the patchouli balances the whole act. I cherish the 60 ml that I have left out of my early 2017 bottle. Cheers!
I was massively disappointed with althair, after seeing the notes before it came out, I expected it to be the perfect scent, and it just wasn't what I expected, very boring. I do love Absolu Aventus, but for the £320 it cost me, I'd expect it to be much stronger and longer lasting. Going to leave it on the shelf until next year and hope that it macerates a bit 😅.
The only 2 that caught my attention are the GG Elixir and the Nishane Hacivat X. I never liked any Le Male, just not for me. Aventus Elixir doesn't sound very interesting, why would you tone down the pineapple? Althair sounds disappointing. My favorite PDM are Shagya and Layton Exclusif.
I watch the whole thing i always like to see what you think about fragrances you have a great taste in life period. I appreciate your hard work brother 🙏 👍
I'm glad I didn't blind buy the Le Male elixir. Its fine but not very complex. I like most of the other elixirs out there better. I like the gucci but can't bring myself to buy it yet. I find the Armani Code parfum fills the role of the gucci elixir for me better.
Blind bought your 2nd soul .it arrived but i haven't sprayed it yet...have greenley and oajan on a hand each you see!...now this oajan is my kind of juice after 30 min on.
I got the same rubbery, plastic note from Le Male elixir and I couldn't stand it. The opening was really nice but on my skin, it just didn't work for me. I'll stick with the Le Parfum. It's works better with me.
What’s cracking Justin C. How are you? Creed aventus absolute is the bomb!!! Too pricey. For now I’ll stick with my mind game’s collection. I’ll stick with elysium by ROJA until this price go down. $540 for 75ml it’s abit over hype
THANK YOU!!!!! Regarding Althair....it's being hailed as an AMAZING Vanilla and I'm like....but is it REALLY??? lol Like it's a nice fragrance for what it is but it's hype grossly exceeds MY nose's reality of this fragrance. Even with the bottle being one of my favorite colors lol. Actually from the notes I saw, I expected something closer to Oajan soooo there's that.
Le male elixirnis one I always gwt that synthetic plasticy weird smell at first but it goes away after about 10 mina znd thqt pwrfume is godlike andblasts long aswell. Also i noticwd if i soay it on my denim jackets and its in my closet. Wear it later ans it smells so so ao good. So i prefer it on clothes than my skin. It smells so good
After having tried Alhair and the 2 elixirs i would say: Althair has nothing groundbreaking to show. I am not a vanilla fan. It is pleasant and i would not go for full bottle. JP Elixr is very very close as a mix of first batches of lemale and ultramale . Gucci Guilty elixir gives off a '90 vibe but the drydown smells way too cheap. For that price this is also a hard pass
Justin, being a non-niche snob myself, a real man of the people with my 48 designers and only 6 niche (just started this year), what is the difference between the Nishane Hachivat and Nishane Hachivat X flanker? Thanks for your help, Master Jedi. God Bless you and your lovely wife during Christmas and the New Year!
@@tracer073 Thanks for asking: Limiting me to 5 may be too hard, I have so many favorites. But here are my loves so far: YSL Bleu Electrique, Dior Homme Parfum, Rochas Moustache EDP, Guerlain L'Homme (tie) Ideal EDP & Ideal Exteme (the Plum & the Cherry), Mancera Intense Cedrat Boise, Terre d' Hermes & Eau Givree, Dolce & Gabbana Luminous Night, Bleu de Chanel Parfum and Amouage Interlude Black Iris. So that's 11. One that I love (I'm a big Iris lover), but doesn't quite rise to the other's level, but really impressed me last year was Narciso Rodriguez's For Him Bleu Noir Parfum. It can be dressed with jeans or more formally. For less than $70 it can't be beaten. Thanks for giving me the time. Merry Christmas. God Bless.

tried the aventus absolute as soon as it came out in barcelona and i was immediately disappointed on it. Too much citrus imo and it absolutely doesnt seem like a 200+ perfume. Literally was glad i didnt spray it on my skin
So, Absolu Aventus solves an issue I have with the regular aventus and that is batch irregularity / variation. Theres only (at least thats what they said) batch of it, so I dont have to scour the web for specific batches or worry about more recent batches falling off in terms of smell or performance compared to prior experiences. Does it blow my mind? No. But it is very plesant, very solid twist on the original. I have the Cologne for the late spring and summer and I am quite happy with the addition of Absolu as a quality-dumb-reach for the winter.

@stayfreshproductions I like it , but it's definitely not anything different, smells like the original Le Male, I get what you're saying now , a fragrance should make the person wearing it feel great not others.
Altair and Aventus Absolu sound disappointing considering the price tag. After Layton, PDM seems to have stopped trying and just be content with basic mass appealing scents that sell. As for Creed, well, theyre the epitome of just price as the lone quality that makes it niche; if you can still consider it one when its got nothing to do with the quality of the fragrance. Cant wait to get my Hacivat X tomorrow. Dont worry JC, i got it before this video of yours. And yes, its a blindbuy because i love the original. I wish they retained the oakmoss but if youre still smelling the oakmoss then i guess they just toned it down a bit to where the added vetiver matches it at best.
Ive smelled all of them except the Aventus, and they just seem boring and already done. I recently got a sample of Amore Caffe from Mancera, you should defitnately check that one out
Honestly, that jpg elixir is good but not worth it. I was bummed out when I went to go smell. It clearly reminded me of Le Parfum a lot which I do own already.
Man creed performance for me has always been terrible. Other then my 2013 aventus. Anything since then has disappeared after spraying. Love the frags but csnt justify the price anymore.
Didn't click away!!! Creed Aventus Absolu is pretty good. What I like about it is that it is not as strong as Dior Savuage Elixir. Don't get me wrong, I view Dior Savauge as a modern masterpiece...It's just too damn strong. I can't wear it anywhere without clearing out the room. I am more of a reserved personality so Savuage takes that away from me. It puts me out there. Sometimes, that is ok. But most days, I don't like that. That makes Absolu Elixir more day to day fragrance for me.
@JT-rx1eo so when I think masterpiece I think of influence & scent profile. Dior savauge has made some of the biggest frag companies release "elixir's." Is my favorite scent? No. Even still, it's completely ushered in a new corner in the frag market.
@JT-rx1eo totally acceptable. Can I ask your age range? I was born 18 yrs after eau savauge so it's out of my orbit for sure. And when I say masterpiece, I should be more clear by saying "modern" masterpiece.
Tbh Aventus absolu was a bummer ive tried to love and give it chace but it's just not a full bottle worthy sorry! I would rather buy 100ml of sauvage elixir!! And initial impression of Aventus absolu to my nose it reminded me of Afnan Supremacy not only intense for some weird reason🤔
I agree, it smells suited for the fall with its vanilla and slight dustiness. But when I think of fall, I don’t think of sweet, blooming orange blossoms. That’s what I smell the most here.
Gucci Guilty Elixir was an absolute love at 1st sniff. That opening is amazing and the dry down is just as nice. Amazing fragrance. Mr.Bisch killed this one 🔥🔥🔥

I didn’t like ultra male at first but when you put it on skin..
magic man
Lemale elixir is basically one million elixir.
Solid video Stay Fresh Captain.
Lighting, sound, all that.
Thank you bro!
I appreciate that!
You testing boss bottle elixer was what i was hoping to see i hear good things
Love your voice bro, watching your videos late night is an enjoyment
Thank you
I'm glad I didn't blind buy the Le Male elixir.
I’m glad you enjoy Oajan, and I hope you enjoy 2nd Soul!
2nd soul is outstanding,i am very happily surprised,i really love the juice and well done with it....truly!@@stayfreshproductions
@@masaiwhite5933 I’m so glad! Thank you!
You can tell Aventus is King 👑 when it's the only one you come back to before you end the video 🍾. #Respect
Great video Justin, appreciate your insight😊
THANK YOU!!!!! Regarding Althair....it's being hailed as an AMAZING Vanilla and I'm like....but is it REALLY??? lol Like it's a nice fragrance for what it is but it's hype grossly exceeds MY nose's reality of this fragrance. Even with the bottle being one of my favorite colors lol. Actually from the notes I saw, I expected something closer to Oajan soooo there's that.
Couldn't agree more!
Absolu Aventus is NOT worth $600(with tax)
Now Jean Paul Elixir is worth EVERY PENNY of $100 I paid for it.
Amazing video my friend as usual you are amazing ❤ and i likd your type in fragrances
Thank you 🙏🏾
Was never tempted to buy a Le Male, until I tried Le Male Elixir. Bought it right after trying it. Fantastic!
Like reading my own comment :) One try and I was hooked. Got myself Le Male parfum just of curiosity but it's not even close.
Le male elixir is overhyped.
@@joshlamar1990 If you feel that way, you probably shouldn't buy it then. I love it, my wife loves it, and unsolicited comments fly when I wear it.
@@jimlittle5769 I own it and you’re lying about the compliments.
Got a sample of Karíkia Angelos Créations Olfactives, would love to hear your opinion on this fragrance.
I love your videos Justin! Keep up what your doing!
Thanks so much!
What’s your top 5 in your collection
To my nose, the flanker is less fruity fresh, less mossy, and more dark woody.
God Bless.
@@stayfreshproductions Thanks for the reply, you're a busy man and have a lot of questions to get too, so I really appreciate a response. Looking forward to all the new stiffs you'll bring us in 2024, get over that cold! Be well! Merry Christmas.

Stay Fresh Productions Baby!!!
I’ve been mad samples , now I’m going to buy the ones that sit well
tried the aventus absolute as soon as it came out in barcelona and i was immediately disappointed on it. Too much citrus imo and it absolutely doesnt seem like a 200+ perfume. Literally was glad i didnt spray it on my skin
Well I’d still try it on your skin! Any scent will always be different on skin
Another great video, you and Grace have blessed holiday
So, Absolu Aventus solves an issue I have with the regular aventus and that is batch irregularity / variation. Theres only (at least thats what they said) batch of it, so I dont have to scour the web for specific batches or worry about more recent batches falling off in terms of smell or performance compared to prior experiences. Does it blow my mind? No. But it is very plesant, very solid twist on the original. I have the Cologne for the late spring and summer and I am quite happy with the addition of Absolu as a quality-dumb-reach for the winter.
Why would anyone do that anyway lol
@@pauljudah1235 Probably because they like their particular batch version of Aventus?
There's definitely more than one batch.

Which set would you choose anyway ?
@@aasiishj1412 ok. I would take set 1. But there appears to be a lot of overlap among the sets.
@@stayfreshproductions ohhh 😮 thank you so much for your valuable feedback
More Tom Ford please!
Your summary helps, thanks you👍🏾
Justin the JPG Elixir is a compliment magnet. The woman love it.
🧢 men love it more than women do.
How do you feel about it tho?
@stayfreshproductions I like it , but it's definitely not anything different, smells like the original Le Male, I get what you're saying now , a fragrance should make the person wearing it feel great not others.
You have to smell hundred silent ways x . Mannn it’s good
If you have not purchased Carlisle or Herod by Parfums de Marly.. then you should buy those over Althair imo. Not that it is a bad scent, not at all.
I have both of them!
@@stayfreshproductions this was more for your audience Sir, lol. But perhaps you would agree to my suggestion also. 😎🤘
I recently got a sample of Amore Caffe from Mancera, you should defitnately check that one out
I want Amore Caffe and PDM Pegasus.
PdM Althair to me smelled weird on paper, but on my skin was ok. Dit not make me think much of it being a vanilla fragrance either.
Your video piqued my interest in getting decanters now, afraid to go out and buy something just to not like it. I'll look into more decanters!
👍🏾😎
Really nice content, very smart and pro, thanks and well done!!!
Much appreciated!
It seems to get lost in Miami postal service love decantx but drives me shipping going through the postal service
Yeah USPS can be a nightmare.
Althair is basically 90% vanilla for me
Honestly, that jpg elixir is good but not worth it.
@JT-rx1eo yes noses are different. I don't think I'm in the minority. I challenge you to read some comments on reviews about savauge elixir.
I haven’t sampled any of these. You are the sacrificial penguin 🐧
Gucci Elixir by far the best 2023 Perfume ;)
Althair smells exactly like The Chronic.
I still dont get the Sauvage elixir vibes in Absolu Aventus
Slightly disagree on the presentation not matching Althair scent. I think the bottle color matches the fall. The fragrance is suited for the fall
I agree, it smells suited for the fall with its vanilla and slight dustiness. But when I think of fall, I don’t think of sweet, blooming orange blossoms. That’s what I smell the most here.
@@stayfreshproductions ahhh ok i get it
I really like these fragrances except for Hacivat X. It was big disappointment to me. To me Absolu Aventis is an improvement over the original
great shipping my samples have been setting at there post office for 5 days and haven't moved 2nd time with decantx.
The owner just had her wedding so I know they’re working to catch up and get back on track
I’m wondering when they gonna stop selling Aventus Absolu?
When they run out lol
