Great mail day Mike! I love the 5 Star Autos! Very affordable autos and super clean for the most part. And that Puckett auto is super sweet! Congratulations on that nice pick up for the collection . That’s a HOF auto I’ve got on my list currently as well.😁
I've recently started some "projects" as well. One project I started is getting a slabbed version of all my favorite Twins players from when I was growing up. Either a significant card or just the best looking card they have. It is a fun way to keep excited and engaged in collecting, and you don't have to break the bank if you don't want to.
Nice pick ups !!..Since your a vintage collector like me, just wondering you going to the Philly show next week ?…this will be my first , just wanting some pointers on where to eat nearby ??..things to do etc …. Thanks !..and have a nice weekend !!
I have a question about collecting in the current environment of the hobby. I have been collecting on and off since I was a kid, starting in the 90s. I started to really get back into the hobby a couple years ago when my youngest son showed some interest. I had a hard time finding any modern or ultra modern that I was interested in so I focused mostly on vintage. Recently I found a modern set that I was drawn to and a player I enjoy watching. The issue is I'm having a hard time finding many of the cards I would like to add to my collection. Is there anyway besides eBay to look for cards or forums of some sort to let people know what I'm looking for? We don't have much in the way of a local card community. Thanks, Jeremy
@@BaseballCollector Elly De La Cruz is who I have started collecting. Most of all I'm looking for his Leaf Pro Set cards. They remind me of all those great rookies I looked for from 1989. They have a few different sub-sets with the same design just different images. Thanks for the response.
It's so nice to come back home and find all these goodies in the mailbox.
For sure!!
Awesome pickups, Mike! I love them all, especially the Griffey!
Thanks Billy. I do too.
Great pickups, Mike. Enjoy the rest of your weekend. 👍
Thanks, you too!
Congratulations on the Kirby. What a terrific card!
Very amazing pickups my friend! Amazing collection you have! I would love to see it up close someday
Thanks Adam. If you ever get to Texas then you can.
Thank you mike! Hopefully someday once my son gets older
Great cards Mike! Love the Gallery of Stars set! When i saw that Puckett auto I got goosebumps!!🤯 Thanks for sharing!
You and me both!

Thanks Shannon. Puckett autos are not cheap in any format.
That Puckett is amazing! Nice adds.
Thanks. Appreciate it.
Awesome pickups, congrats
Thanks!
Welcome back, Mike! Sweet pickups and Griffey auto
Thanks Josh. The Puckett was a big one for me
It’s beautiful there. We spent a week there a few years back and had a blast!
Love the Ripken, congrats landing a Kirby!!!
Thanks Brad. That Kirby is a big one for me.
Great pickups Mike!
Thanks Tony. Appreciate it.
Great autos! Agree on Goldy, curious to see what he is doing for next year.
I would guess he stays with the Cardinals but I would love for the Rangers to get him
I feel your pain on searching for 80's HOF'ers that are recently inducted. Tough to find.
And when you do the sellers put crazy prices on them because they are "low pop."

That is awesome!
13 year old me spent way too much on Triple Play packs back in the day. Awesome Griffey!
I bought a bunch of it too just because it was so cheap.
Great pickups Mike! What a great Puckett!!
Thanks Scott. I was pretty excited about that one.
Always love the five star, and there’s something about that 87 Leyland…
Thanks buddy. I can't imagine who doesn't love Five Star. But I am sure there is someone out there.
awesome Puckett!
Thanks Mike. Crazy how expensive that one is.
Like 25-30 minutes away last week from me . I think Goldschmidt is on hof pace too so I’ve been putting away a few too . That Kirby and Griffey 🎉🎉
Thanks Adam. I should have come by. LOL
Man those are some big boy dixk perez items. I too had the griffey on my watch list for ever but the price wasn't what I was comfortable paying
Thanks Reuben. The Griffey seller sent me an offer and I just said what the hell.
❤
Thanks.
How much you had to drink tonight, Mike? You look as buzzed as me. Great cards 😎 always inspiring
No drinking. Just pure exhaustion.
@@BaseballCollector lol well I was drinking. Have a great wknd

I will not be there. Maybe someday.
Great showcase as always. I just picked up a Super Diamond Kings set, my third. Do you have autos on any of those 5x7 cards?
Amazing cards! Is it more collectable to have an older psa slab?
IMO no. The newer holders seem to me to be more strict on grading.
I see that collectors prefer more recently graded cards as PSA is perceived to have gotten stricter with grading.
Thanks!
Thanks for sharing the video. do you need a graphic artist to work on your YT logo banner? for a cheap price...

@@chubbyunclerico If you can’t find it on eBay then it will be even harder to find them anywhere else.
Who is the player and what is the set?

It sounds like you're talking about snoop lol
That’s who I was channeling
Do people really not consider '51 Topps a card set?
Some do Jake. I know, we think that is crazy.
Never understand the '51 Topps grades - how is that a 4? The Scooter auto very cool. Puckett HOF autos must be incredibly few and far between.
Thanks Brad. The 51 Topps grades are all over the place.
No effects from the hurricane where you were I hope.
@@ottoolsen7640 Just rain for a day
Have no desire to have unlicensed cards. Worthless to me, but not to others.
What did I show that was unlicensed?
@@BaseballCollector the autos with no logos teams etc? Maybe I was wrong. 🤷🏼♂
@@apaladin You were wrong. But all good
@@BaseballCollector ok my apologies.
