This looks a spot on port of rtype for the mighty MegaDrive wow so many options too for the demo this sounds and looks like it plays fantastically

That music is so good! I'm not an R-Type officionado, so I can't tell if this is the original or the MD remixes. They're wicked whichever ones are playing!
There's a bit of both in the video, but yeah, they're great! Cyberdeous does some amazing MD music.

The first level is arguably better than the PC Engine version. Lacks the flicker. Sprites are slightly more detailed. Only issue I had is that the "force" module does not suck back to the ship after separation as easily as it is does in the arcade.

This and Darius genesis port is what should have been. Rtype leo should be next to be ported
