Development of cation channel TRPV2 specific blocker: from pre-clinical studies to a lead compound

A webinar given by Prof. Gad Keren from the Cardiovascular Research Laboratory in Tel Aviv Sourasky Medical Center - Ichilov - in the framework of the Chief Scientist Presents webinar series. The webinar presents a joint research project with the BLAVATNIK Center for Drug Discovery in Tel Aviv University on TRPV2 calcium channel and its involvement in cardiac function and dysfunction, inflammation and immunity and cancer. Finally, a small molecule project with a discovery of a lead molecule for blocking TRPV2 is presented.
