Those columnar cacti are unreal. It’s uncommon to see such rare specimens in collections. Most people don’t have the climate for them, and even fewer people can afford to build greenhouses large enough for 10 meter tall plants. They take a lifetime to reach that size, too. What a crazy place. I’m jealous.
Right?! Some of them look like they've "bushed" out with the amount of arms/offshoots they've grown. It really is spectacular to see them with your own eyes. But hopefully this video will suffice if you can't!
Hi Shy! Yeah! Cactus Country! Thanks for bringing us along! 🌵 It's the dead of Winter here so this is real eye candy. ❤ the music too...perfect for this.
Pleasure's all mine Molly! Hope this can keep you dreaming of summer! 🌵☀️❤️
Thank you for this video, I enjoyed it so much...hv never seen such beautiful cacti species!!!❤❤❤
Восхитительная прогулка!💯👍🏻

Thanks for the walking tour...enjoying a cup of coffee and cactus tour.
My pleasure 🙂 thank you for watching!
Wow! Some of those beauties are just about to pop! They would look massive in full bloom! Thanks for sharing!
Yup, gorgeous aren't they! I would love to see Cactus Country in blooms season. Thank you for dropping by and watching!
I love seeing the big specimens in these gardens, and then I look at my plants and tell them "you'll big some day if you believe in yourself!" My favorite thing to see in collections is the boojum.
I've got to bring in all my balcony plants this weekend. We are getting down to -5° on Monday/Tuesday 😭 I hate it when this happens... we get these brief arctic blasts that make it all the way down to the gulf that are just enough to be lethal and highly inconvenient.
All it takes is that one quick shift in temperature, huh. It gets cold in winter here but luckily our area doesn't get frost. I hope yours pull through ok.
All mine are in pots so we gotta put them in the ground before we give them that kind of hope! One day...
thanks for sharing the video enjoyed the tour.
Thank you George!! I haven't seen you around for a while- I hope you are well!
Wow! What beauty. Thank you!!

Aw, thanks for watching Lili! 💕🌵
Cool place, thoroughly enjoyed it! Can't experience this anywhere near home (NL), it looks otherworldly :)
It really is! We're very lucky to have it here 🙂🌵
Hello Shy, lovely video. I just wanted to say I've learnt so much from you. Yesterday I repotted some succulents and normally I would put one succulent in the pot of the one variety. Now after watching you plant, I'm mixing varieties and I love it so much better. The problem is I want to repot all my succulents now but it would be too much work. Thanks so much for your video, I look forward to them so much.
Hello Maryanne, so wonderful to hear you are experimenting with arrangements! I know what you mean about wanting to repot everything, and even with arrangements themselves, I'll want to change them up from time to time because of the way the plants evolve, and I'll get new plants coming into my collection that I think will work better. Enjoy! It's so satisfying when you get the right combination! 🌵🌸
@@the.morning.chorus thank you so much for your lovely response.

Will b going 2day
As in Gordon Sydney? Ooh this is great to know! Thank you!
Fun, fun, fun! Great video! Thank you ❤. Please do try mangave (that’s the one you were wondering about). I like mangaves. They are monocarpic, but if the mom blooms out, it’ll have a ton of pups. I think the mangaves could work for your windy patio :)
@@viktoriiakolotovska5745 Thanks so much for watching Viktoriia! I have a mangave toothfairy! It's not very big at the moment but will have beautiful red spines when it matures :)
@@the.morning.chorus ❤️awe, awesome! You’re very welcome! I’ll be on a look out to see the mangave you have in your future videos.
This is amazing! I wish we could grow plants like this over here in Germany 🥰 Thank you for taking us along!

Yup, and it wasn't even proper bloom season at Cactus Country. If you go there in Springtime that's when the real show is! 🌸🌵
