    Swapped my window regulator out thanks to your help. only cost me £15 for parts and saved me a £100+ mechanic visit.
    Appreciate it a lot!

    Dear OP
    Thank you for the video.
    My E60 has issues with the regulator so I had to swap it out.
    I'm no mechanic (I'm a nerd that recently graduated college) but I know my ways around my tools and previously owned an E46 with the exact same issue in the past.
    Very straightforward commentary and awesome visuals! Much appreciation!!

    Make sure that vapour barrier is stuck down when reassembling. Otherwise your foot well will flood when it rains. The vapour barriers stops rain entering the car and the buytly forms a water tight seal. Check out forum "BMW footwell flooding" for more info. Replace any broken door panel clips or water will enter car through those holes behind the door card. From someone who had months of trying to locate a rear footwell flood

      Yes. I usually start by tearing down the rear of the car and moving forward from there.

    I thought If you disconnect the battery it will mess up the computer and have to go get it re programed

      Just disconnect the negative... its fine

      thats only if you disconnect and change the type of battery. I had a power leak and had to remove the both terminals of my battery every night for months till i sorted the power leak. I had no memory problems.

    Why do you put all your tools on the seat like that...

    • @Phxautorecycling
      @Phxautorecycling  4 роки тому

      Not sure what you mean? It's more convenient than putting them on the ground, and I don't have enough hands to hold them all at the same time.

      He means that you put sharp tools on leather seats without using a cloth or something else....

      A seat is for sitting or seating things on, he is seating his tools there
