Hey! That's so cool, what a great Christmas present! Yes, they are indeed quite a lot of work and the caramel makes them very sweet🤣. Hope you (and your children) still enjoyed them though😘
You have mentioned having German heritage, so I was wondering if one of your parents/grandparents was, if you’ve ever lived in Germany and do you speak any German?
Yep! My mum's Scottish and my dad's German. I grew up in Germany and went to school there while speaking English at home - so I'm completely bilingual!
@@theunicook2604 That is awesome! I moved to France when I was 6 so have become bilingual. I never did German but did other languages at Uni, so heard my classmates speaking German and thought your pronunciation sounded excellent. Very cool that you have your bilingualism on top of your science degree.
@@louisacoote2337 Haha thanks! Yeah you're lucky being bilingual too, it's such a privilege! I learnt French at school for 7 years and love speaking it - I try to use it as often as possible so that I don't lose it!
Yay it’s back xx
Thanks for another delicious recipe for my sweet tooth, it was after a while, welcome back :)

What a long recipe! It looks like it was worth it though! Have you ever thought about being on Bake Off?
That would literally be a dream come true ngl XD
