A lot different loading process from 1958-1961 time period. The bales look the same, green JD tractor (630), and case baler. The real difference was the 1948 1 1/2 ton flat bed truck that we used to haul the hay to the barn. I was 16-to 18 or so back then. I like to think about it but certainly don't want to relive the days! Nice to watch though.
Nice video. But I hope she doesn't have too many acres cut, this is not a very efficient baling job. Marcia- There shouldn't be more than 18 flakes per bale and you're putting in 30+ here. You can either double the windrows or double the speed of the tractor; both baler and tractor can easily handle a lot more hay and make a nice bale consistently. PS: Bill, the "carts" are generally called hay racks or throw wagons.
Must be nice to get some dry hay, we can't seem to get good weather at all around here, nice video and good baling setup!
Great video bill. Glad to see you're posting videos again. Great shots of the bales flying into the wagon. Keep em comin!
Awesome video, part of me wishes we had this back so I could get some awesome shots with the drones.
Fantastic video great to watch thanks.

Could you do a video on the wagons with the chain floor and give more info on them?
Good vid. Next year I would like to see lady Marcia with tractor camera to save her neck. Thanks

You should rename this "Square Bale launching" wow that's some kind of a take off is it standard or have you modified it?
Kevin Hardisty Done! I'm lousy sometimes at titling my videos. Thanks. I believe the baler is unmodified.
