I have a friend that makes high quality hay for horses and uses the same model of Bale Band It. As he explained to me, the reason he uses it is because it allows him to use less labor to put up the hay and allows the buyer to move the large bale into position and use hand labor to feed to the horses. Idk, how he explained it to me.
the bale band-it is an interesting labor saving machine...how do you collect the hay to put into the barn? Also that NH BC5070 looks like it can handle a good size windrow. Have you used other brands of balers?
Looking for tips... My father just passed away and I am trying to keep things running at least this year. I now hAve the same rack and baler that I see in the video. Any suggestions that I could use? I have not farmed for 15 years and things are starting to come back to me but something I never did so any tips are helpful.
I was wondering the same exact thing. never saw that ( The liquid tank on the baler) nor a bale bandit, As a kid I used to walk behind the baler all day and put the bales on a trailer, I wish my uncle had on of these back then,
We've been using one since they first came out. Saves so much time and is so much more convenient. Worth the money too.
Like everyone else, I've never seen something like that. Very interesting. Thanks for sharing!
Thank _you_ for watching.

What a machine that bale bandit is? Never seen one of those in the uk
My first time seeing, too. Thanks for watching.

We're in the UK and we run two!
Would think in Europe you would more likely see a Bale Baron.
Great stuff bill!
Thanks much.

Oft as not a tractor with a loader using bale spears, pallet forks , or bale clamps. Anything that can load large squares will work.
deuterium kola baler
vf5
Would it be more economical to upgrade to a larger square baler?

giodazip At least I''m not the only one who does not what the tank is for. I thought some hay farmer type might enlighten us.
It is an inoculant tank that puts a preservative on the hay.
Michael Sekavec Thanks Michael for answering this question. Now at least three of us including you know what the tank is for. :)
really, I would of never guessed that, preservative on hay. Thanks!
