I think that none of them heard The Chantays when Pipeline burst on us youngsters!. Good to see the lovely girls playing memorable instrumentals! Keep it going!
When I was a little kid, I heard this song on the radio and adopted it as my crime-fighting super hero "action" theme... I'm totally flashing back to those late 1960s days with this excellent rendition!
Love Huntington Beach. Played the area at The Taco Surf a few times with Mid Life Crisis. However, these days I don't like flying otherwise we would be there. Zoe McCulloch. The UK is mainly Shadows music but I have been out and I am good friends with The Ventures and love them as I do all the surf bands.
Great sound mixed with the Ventures and the Shadows. I'm not sure the Shadows played Pipeline which is originated by the American instrumental group, the Chantays. Thanks for posting! From San Jose, Ca USA.
Love it!!! I just played pipeline and all the Ventures songs over and over for my little grandson a few years back. So far I think u guys did this one the best out of all of em!👍it just rocks!!! I love it!!!😊
You all sound great! You might enjoy listening to 'Johnny October', by the Woodchucks (1964). In any event, thanks, more than you know, for sharing your great music! - Neal A. Haight
I never go more than a few days without listening to these guys or the surfragettes. Brings back memories of our band in HS. Except we pretty much stunk.
Really lovely listening to this from my youth now another generation are playing it....ACE PLAYING. Great performance. Thank you for sharing your talent!
Wow I was younger than those very young ladies when I first went bonkers for this incredible song. Keep it going ladies.........keep it alive and pass it on to the next generation after you.
Somewhere, someplace I see Buddy Hollie and his crew grinning and toasting you with Ambrosia! Well done Ladies, well done, you are doing their memory proud!
Wow! That was awesome. Every bit as good as The Chantays, and without a keyboard. If I may, rhythm player, try an up-stroke on the Em in the beginning.
She had me at "Ghost Riders in the Sky." Then I looked for "Apache," followed by "Pipeline." Now, I am going to look for, "Green "Onions," then "Tequila." She is goooooooooooooood! (DH, Oklahoma City, Mar 10, 2020)
Wow love it when I was a kid I wrote the notes down E,B,G,B,E,B,G,B I ended up getting the E,B,G,Bs. Great work girls I played all that stuff in the 70s.
Wow! As someone who grew up on this music, it's great to hear it done so well. It's also great to hear and see a woman band that doesn't use short dresses to cover for mediocre talent. These women are PLAYERS.
You girls are really good!! Your instrumentals are to the tee....you do need a singer thou if you were to go any further....still wouldn't stop me from seeing you play...
