Has anyone used these scopes yet for pressure analysis?I've just bought the Chinese apt-100 wps500x copy.I just can't get a signal to appear on the screen at all??Yet away from the car i can attach a bicycle tyre pump to the hose and i get a nice clear fast responding signal!!It's just everytime i connect it anywhere near a car i get nothing??lol, I did get a similar issue when i made a pressure transducer for my Verus, the problem there was the hose i screwed into the plughole was off a manual compression gauge, which had a one way valve in it,drilled this out and it was perfect. Yet this unit has a valve in it too but it works 'off',away from a car?
Just got one of these, however my can signals look bloody awful! It's the ato1104 automotive one i have and i'm using the presets.I thought maybe it was the micsig leads were awful, used Snap-on leads i had,but signal still looks awful. There's interference and there is a solid line along the top of the can high and low, instead of the nice clear up and down waveform you've got!Want a swap??lol
@@davesterl I was just ruling out leads incase that was problem.Persist mode keeps popping up by default, and i keep switching it off,i'll get round it.Thanks.
Ahhh...Sunday Morn...Suns out, MCI vs. CHE on the telly and some solid UA-cam content. I ask ya, does life get any better ? (Yes I am a simple man). Nice demo Dave
Incase anyone gets one of these scopes, and your canbus signals look hellish, drag down your menu from the top of your screen, then choose 'waveform',then turn off 'persist'!It was persistently getting on my tits!It keeps defaulting to it but i'll figure it out somehow.
I'm not 100% sure but on the automotive ATO, the preset CAN settings will default with persistance mode on. The micsig i this video is the non automotive TO1004

Turn persistance mode off. Nothing to do with your leads

Hi dave
What i understood from you that the picoscope more clear than micsig
